RESUMO
Multiple basal cell carcinoma (mBCC) is a rare skin condition, and the propensity to develop mBCC may be associated with some genodermatoses, arsenic poisoning, and chronic exposure to radiation or coal tar. We experienced two rare and interesting cases of mBCC. One case was a 67-year-old woman, who presented with a twenty year history of numerous, black to brownish crusted patches over the whole body. Histopathologic features of the lesions indicated superficial basal cell carcinoma. The other case was a 70-year-old woman, who had multiple, black to brown colored papules on the face, neck and trunk. Biopsy specimens from lesions revealed histopathologic features of superficial, micronodular and morpheaform basal cell carcinoma.

Nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (basal cell nevus syndrome) is characterized by multiple basal cell carcinomas, cysts of jaw and several other congenital anomalies on skeletal, neurologic and reproductive system. It is inherited as an autosomal dominant trait. We found a 12-year-old girl with multiple basal cell carcinomas, bifid ribs, palmar pits, ophthalmic hypertelorism, ectopic calcification of falx cerebri and medulloblastoma and diagnosed it as nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome. Her 2-year-old younger sister showed no specific abnormality. We dessicated the basal cell carcinomas and nevi which were suspected to perform malignant transformation with carbon dioxide laser, and are to continue the follow-up study and treatment for patient and her family members.

Also, he had a 6-year history of black colored, ulcerated nodules on right temporal area of scalp and brownish, flat plaques on anterior chest, Biopsy specimens from lesions revealed typical histopathologic findings of the basal cell carcinoma. Wide excision with graft was done. One year later, he was expired due to lung carcinoma.
