RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of full-field digital mammography three-dimensional (3D) positioning system for localization and excision of nonpalpable breast lesions. Methods 106 patients with nonpalpable breast lesions and underwent preoperative localization were analyzed retrospectively. They underwent wire-localization operation guided by mammography 3D positioning system (GE Senogrphe DS).The depth of wire insertion was calculated manually and automatically.Combined with the manual measurement, systematic measurement, skin elasticity and breast parenchyma structure, the positioning wire was placed. Then, the clinical resection was performed according to the wire localization. Results The localization accuracy of mammography 3D positioning system was 100%.11 patients appearedsyncope. With the rest, psychological comfort and fluid infusion, patients recovered quickly. Conclusion Full-field digital mammography 3D positioning system can improve the accuracy of clinical resection of nonpalpable breast lesion.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the full digital mammography X-ray stereotactic biopsy catheter guide wire ( full field digital mammography stereotactic core needle biopsy, FFDM SCNB) diagnosis of small breast lesions ( nonpalpable breast lesion, NPBL) clinical effectiveness. Methods Admitted in our hospital from October 2011 to October 2013 period 61 cases NPBL patients as observed objects were given FFDM SCNB and pathological examination ( histopathological examination, HE) , after the diagnostic accuracy of the standard diagnostic evaluation, and data were statistically analyzed. Results The SCNB NPBL 82 were detected, of which malignant NPBL 40 (48. 78%), benign NPBL 40 (48. 78%), benign and malignant unknown NPBL 2 (2. 22%);HE were detected in malignant NPBL 40 (48. 78%), benign NPBL 42 (51. 22%), benign and malignant unknown 0 (0. 00%);SCNB diagnostic accuracy of 74 (90. 24%) ca-ses were misdiagnosed 6 (7. 32%) cases were missed 2 (2. 44%) patients, compared with no diagnosis HE significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion This study was to compare the diagnosis of 61 cases of patients NPBL found FFDM SCNB not in terms of diagnostic ac-curacy in patients with HE significant difference(P>0. 05), and there is less invasive, small-destructive, no scars, and economic secur-ity advantage, worthy reference.

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the localized biopsy of nonpalpable breast lesions (NPBLs) and its role in the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Methods One hundred and fifty-eight NPBLs from a series of 141 women detected by mammography were resected with wire localization technique. Results Forty-two lesions (26.6%, 42/158) in 42 patients were diagnosed with malignant result, including 12(28.6%) patients with stage 0 breast cancer, 24(57.1%) with stageⅠ, 2(4.8%) with stage Ⅱ and 4(9.5%) with stage Ⅲ disease according to American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system(the 6th edition). The contralateral axillary lymph nodes metastasis were found in only one (2.4%) patient with stage Ⅲ disease and the other forty-one patients remained free of recurrent disease at a median follow-up of 31 months. Conclusion The results showed that the most nonpalpable breast cancers detected by mammography were early-stage breast cancers and had good prognosis. The NPBLs should get a localized biopsy in order to facilitate the early diagnosis and treatment of nonpalpable breast cancers.

RESUMO

Objective To discuss the feasibility of diagnosis with needle stereotaction marking by steel wire under mammography and biopsy for nonpalpable early stage breast carcinoma. Methods Eighteen patients with doubtful nidus of breast only in X gram were performed needle stereotaction marking by steel wire under mammography, and removal freemartin biopsies of breast nidus were performed then. Results Localization and biopsy were very successful in all 18 patients. Seven patients were definited to have early stage breast carcinomas and eleven benign diseases. The diagnostic rate for nonpalpable early stage breast carcinoma was 100%.Conclusions Needle stereotaction marking by steel wire undermammography finish off the problem locating accurately breast nidus during operation. It was a credible and perfect technique for diagnoses of nonpalpable early stage breast carcinoma.

RESUMO

Ultrasonographic localizations were performed by methylene blue injection in 35 cases of nonpalpable breast lesion. The lesions were sized 0.3cm-1.3cm and biopsied just after localization with 100% success rate. All the patients tolerated well the procedure and had not any complications. Ultrasonoguided dye injection is an accurate, comfortable and simple method for prebiopsy localization of nonpalpable breast lesion.
