RESUMO

The nursing management information system for pediatric outpatient transfusion was constructed based on the refined management concept. It is designed to correct the current heavy workload, crowded conditions and low satisfaction. By comparing the indicators before and after the application and those of management concern, the system proves that it can effectively improve the quality of transfusion nursing in pediatric outpatient department, reduce the occurrence of nursing defects, and improve the satisfaction of nurses, patients and parents, hence worthy of promotion.

RESUMO

ABSTRACT A panel of national experts was convened by the Brazilian Infectious Diseases Society in order to determine the recommendations for outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) in Brazil. The following aspects are covered in the document: organization of OPAT programs; patient evaluation and eligibility criteria, including clinical and sociocultural factors; diagnosis of eligibility; venous access and antimicrobial infusion devices; protocols for antimicrobial use and monitoring and cost-effectiveness.

RESUMO

Objective To analyze type of irrational outpatient infusion prescriptions returned by clinical pharmacists'pre -prescription review and intervention in our hospital.Methods Outpatient infusion prescriptions reviewed by clinical pharmacists in 2014 were statistically analyzed in terms of type,constitution and rate of qualified prescriptions.Results Type of unstandard writing or input errors prescriptions accounted for 35.19%,which was the great majority of the irrational outpatient infusion prescriptions.The rate of qualified prescriptions was 99.15%,which was higher than 91.53% in 2011 when pre -prescription review and intervention had not implemented.Conclusion Pre -prescription review and intervention could improve the quality of outpatient infusion prescriptions.Finally,safety and effectiveness of outpatient infusion could be guaranteed.

RESUMO

Objective To study the effect of pharmacy intravenous admixture service(PIVAS)combined with mobile transfusion management system on the intravenous infusion for outpatients.Methods Six hundred patients hospitalized from January to December 2011 were set as the control group,and another 600 patients from January to December 2012 as observation group.The control group were managed with PIVAS management mode and the observation group with PIVAS combined with mobile transfusion management system management mode.The two groups were compared in terms of transfusion reaction,transfusion errors,nurse-patient disputes, transfusion check errors,no response from patients at call and patient’s satisfaction.Results There were no significant differences between the groups in transfusion reaction and transfusion error rate( P>0.05).The rates of nurse-patient disputes,transfusion check errors,no response from patients at call and patient's satisfaction in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion PIVAS combined with mobile transfusion management system can not only provides pharmaceutical care safety quality for outpatient’s infusion,but also simplify the infusion process and improve the work efficiency and patient’s satisfaction with nurses.

RESUMO

Objective The care requirements and the waiting time of infusion outpatients in emergency department were evaluated to innovate the mode of outpatient and emergency infusion management. Methods 400 infusion outpatients were randomly assessed with the care requirements assessment form which were designed by ourselves. Results The accurate, timely medication treatment and care, a quiet, comfortable environment and the sharply puncture technique were wanted by most outpatients. Conclusions Information management mode-wireless mobile outpatient infusion management system, provides a technologically advanced, safe, reliable, practical solutions for emergency fluid management.

@#Objective To understand the health knowledge needs of the patients with sequela of stroke and receiving infusion treatment in community service center.MethodsAn investigation on health-related needs of 300 infusion patients with sequela of stroke at Nanning Nanmian Beihu Community Health Center was performed with self-designed questionnaire.ResultsMore than 80% of patients wanted to know following knowledges: the cause of stroke and disease,treatment and more,and the name of the drug treatment,infusion of attention,and other matters.More than 80% of patients hoped to receive health education.The difference of the needs of patients with different profession for the health education was significant(P<0.01).ConclusionThe patients with sequela of stroke would like to know the disease-related knowledge,scientific guidance to health and health care in outpatient infusion clinics during treatment should be based on the needs of patients,to carry out the relevant health education.

Objective To design a new procedure for outpatient safe infusion.Methods Aiming at the errors possibly occur in current management of hospital outpatient infusion process,modern wireless and intelligent recognition technology are applied to research and design a new infusion procedure.Results Based on its program difference from the LAN technology of fixed-point check transfusion management style,this solution truly met the needs of actual medical infusion process and achieve the dynamic information check,exchange and matching between the hospital staffs and patients.Conclusion It ensures the safety of transfusion patients,and creates a harmonious environment for treatment.
