RESUMO

Objective Systematic review the effect and side effect of Probucol on contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CIAKI), and to evaluate the characteristics and strength of the protective effect. Methods Electronic search studies from databases published in English and Chinese before March 2014, and hand searches of relevant randomized controlled trials of references. Features, the quality of research and valid data of included studies were extracted, then using RevMan 5.0 software to conduct a Meta-analysis base on Cochrane systematic review methods. Results A total of 11 literatures described eight randomized controlled trials involving 1938 cases of patients evaluated the effect of Probucal on CIAKI. A total of seven studies involving 1,298 patients, compared the incidence of CIAKI, the total incidence rate was 10.9%(141/1298), CIAKI incidence was 5.7%(37/652) in the Probucal group and 16.1%(104/646) in the control group (RR 0.37, 95%CI 0.26~0.53). Lower postoperative creatinine values was observed in Probucol group, compared with the control group on the first day Weighted Mean Difference (WMD-6.76, 95%CI-9.33~-4.20)μmol/L, the second day (WMD-16.90, 95%CI-22.61~-11.19)μmol/L, the third day(WMD-11.05, 95%CI-17.65~-4.45)μmol/L, and lower peak postoperative creatinine than the control group[(WMD- 14.58, 95%CI- 19.00 ~ - 10.16)μmol/L]. Probucol group with lower postoperative urinary KIM-1[(WMD-3.64 , 95%CI-3.72~-3.57) ng/ml], and the serum CysC was also low. Conclusions Preoperative or postoperative oral Probucol has a protective effect on CIAKI, can reduce the rise of postoperative renal injury indicators of coronary angiography or coronary intervention, such as serum creatinine and CysC, and CIAKI can be reduced by about 60%, no significant side effects observed.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the effect of ulinastatin (UTI) on hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Methods Totally 24 adult Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: sham-operated control group (SO group), ischemia-reperfusion group (I/R group) and ulinastatin group (UTI group). Liver in I/R group underwent 1 h of reperfasion after 30 min of ischemia. In UTI group, UTI (2×104 U/kg) was administered to rats 30 min before modeling. The levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) in serum were measured and the levels of nitric oxide and malondialdehyde in liver were determined. The histological changes of liver were observed. Results The levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and TNF-α in serum were significantly increased in I/R group compared with those in UTI group (P<0.05). The levels of nitric oxide and malondialdehyde in liver were significantly higher in I/R group than in UTI group (P<0.05).Histological examination of liver indicated that the damages were more severe in I/R group than in UTI group. Conclusion UTI has the ability to inhibit the production of TNF-α and oxyradical, and ameliorate microcirculatory dysfunction in rats with hepatic ischemia-reperfasion injury.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the role of deferoxamine pretreatment for hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury in liver auto-transplantation in rats. Method Murine liver auto-transplantation model was established. Ninety six male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: 32 rats in deferoxamine pretreatment group (D), 32 rats in control group with aqua pro injection pretreatment(C) and 32 rats in sham-operation group (S). The animals were killed at 30 min, 2 h, 6 h, 24 h after operation respectively. ALT and AST level, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA), liver histological change(HE), the protein expression of HIF-1α、TNF-α and IL-1 were measured. Results At 30 min, 2 h, 6 h, 24 h after operation, the levels of ALT,AST,MDA and the expression of IL-1 protein and TNF-α protein were higher in group C than group D significantly, while the expression of HIF-1α and SOD were higher in group D [SOD(411±70; 384±53; 379±46)、H1F-1α(0.0413±0.0040; 0.0684± 0.0032; 0.0583±0.0032; 0.0491±0.0026)] than group C significantly (P<0.01) [SOD(341±21; 323±25; 303±25)、HIF-1α (0.0254±0.0024; 0.0312±0.0022; 0.0381±0.0022; 0.0257± 0.0015)] (F>59.881;P<0.01). Conclusion The up-regulated expression of HIF-1α, decreased liver lipid peroxidation injury and TNF-α and IL-1 levels, may be involved in the mechanism hy which deferoxamine pretreatment protects liver from ischemia reperfusion injury in rats' liver auto-transplantation.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the relationship of neutrophil and interleukin-8(IL-8)with exercise-induced asthma(EIA).Methods From May 15,2001 to Dec 19.2005 the levels of peripheral neutrophil superoxide anion and IL-8 in the blood and the induced sputum from patients with EIA,non EIA and normal control subjects were measured respectively before and after exercises, meanwhile a comparison was made among them. Results Before exercise:the level of neutrophil superoxide anion was slightly higher in EIA group and non EIA group than that in control group;however, the differences were insignificant;the IL-8 and MDA levels in blood and induced sputum were higher in EIA group and non EIA group than those in control group, but there was no significant difference between EIA group and non EIA group;however, they were significantly different between EIA group and control group, non EIA group and control group respectively( P 0.05).Conclusion Oxyradical produced by neutrophil and IL-8 has significant effect on the production of EIA.

RESUMO

Objective To reseach the effects of diazepam under different cerebral temperature on the concentration of glutamate(Glu), ?-aminobutyric acid (GABA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX) and malonaldehyde(MDA) in cerebral ischemia tissue of rat. Methods The modle of cerebral middle artery occlusion reperfusion of rats was established to induce the target cerebral temperatue. The concentration of Glu, GABA, SOD, GSH-PX and MDA were detected in mild hyperthermia, ordinary temperature and subhypothermia groups respectively. Results (1)Compared with the sham-operation group under normal temperature, the concentration of Glu, MDA had increased obviously in the control group of focal cerebral ischemia and the group using diazepam under normal temperature (all P0.05),but the concentration of GABA had increased markedly in the groups of normal temperature using diazepam (P0.05).(3)Compared with the control group using diazepam under normal temperature, the concentration of Glu and MDA increased obviuosly(all P0.05).The concentration of Glu and MDA in the groups of hypothermia using diazepam was lower markedly (P

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the oxidative stress caused by tri-n-butyltin (TBT) in mice. Methods 24 male NIH mice were chosen and the different doses of TBT were given per os for 24 h acute toxic test, meanwhile set the control group of 0.9% sodium chloride and 13% ethanol. The TOSC of heart, brain, lung, liver and kidney homogenates were detected by gas chromatography. Results After 24 h TBT exposure, TOSC of all viscera tissues was increased and this change was significant in the heart and brain, in every dose level, compared with the control (P
