Baveno VII - Renewing consensus in portal hypertension: personalized care for portal hypertension / 中华肝脏病杂志

The Baveno VII workshop held in October 2021 was featured by the subject of personalized care in portal hypertension. The workshop focused on the following 9 topics including: the relevance and indications for measuring the hepatic venous pressure gradient as a gold standard; the use of non-invasive tools for the diagnosis of compensated advanced chronic liver disease and clinically significant portal hypertension; the impact of etiological and of non-etiological therapies in the course of cirrhosis; the prevention of the first episode of decompensation; the management of the acute bleeding episode; the prevention of further decompensation; as well as the diagnosis and management of splanchnic vein thrombosis and other vascular disorders of the liver. Analysis of the relationship between the psychological resilience of newly-served nurses and the change-oriented leadership behavior of head nurses / 中国基层医药

Objective@#To analyze the correlation between the psychological flexibility of newly recruited nurses and the change leadership behavior of head nurses, so as to guide nursing managers to strengthen management and improve the quality of nursing care of new nursing staff.@*Methods@#From May 2017 to April 2018, 80 new nursing staff were surveyed using the psychological resilience scale and the change leadership style, and their correlation was analyzed.@*Results@#According to the statistics, the total score of psychological reinforcement of new nursing staff was (2.74±0.52)points, the overall level was not high, and the head nurses' change leadership behavior and various dimension scores were positively correlated with the nursing staff's psychological elasticity score (r=0.240, P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#Nursing managers should give full play to the role of the head nurses' transformational leadership behavior, so as to act on the psychological flexibility of nursing staff and improve the overall level of care.

Qualitative Research on Spiritual Needs of Young Patients with Gastric Cancer / 中国医学伦理学

Objective:To explore the spiritual needs of young patients with gastric cancer, and provide evidence for spiritual care. Methods:Using the qualitative research method, 13 patients with gastric cancer were selected to conduct interview in depth. Results:The spiritual needs of gastric cancer patients included four aspects:dignity maintenance, family harmony, realizing self -value and seeking spiritual sustenance. Conclusion: The spiritual needs of gastric cancer patients are diverse and have obvious characteristics of Chinese traditional culture. Personalized spiritual care is the core component of cancer care and should be run through the whole nursing process.
