RESUMO

The development status of regional longitudinal healthcare alliances in China was analyzed in the paper.As found by the authors, such existing problems as the healthcare administrative system and fiscal input system, the crisis of confidence on primary medical institutions, poor information platforms, and limited means of medical insurance payment, constitute roadblocks for healthcare alliances to play their roles.Proposals of the paper cover such grounds as follows: the government to make a top-down design and a longitudinal and integrated healthcare system can be built;to build a corporate structure for the alliances, with greater fiscal support;to reform the medical insurance payment practice for integrating interests of medical associations;to clarify the responsibilities of tertiary hospitals, for building a win-win mechanism among stakeholders, and improving the information sharing platform.These measures, if in place, can propel the healthy development of healthcare alliances in China.

RESUMO

This paper introduced the latest healthcare management and the service delivery system including health resources in Macao,highlighting the developed legal system,government financing policies for health sector,the well-developed medical service referral system,favorable development supports for private medical institutions,and remuneration incentive policies for health workers in Macao.These may serve as the useful implications and recommendations for health reform and development in mainland of China.

RESUMO

This paper reviewed the evolution of discipline and professional development of the medical sciences in Shanghai,evaluated the performance of the strategic planning for the discipline and professional development,explored the innovative model for developing the disciplines and professionals,analyzed the main reasons of the good performance.Some policy suggestions were proposed,including integrating all kinds of resources.forming new vigor and synergy,strengthening the development for the disciplines and professionals in public health,improving the capacity of the prevention and control of diseases,lncrcasing the impact of the clinical medical centers and key disciplines,enhancing the quality of health services,culturing more talent professionals,and developing the excellent team with multiple levels.Meanwhile,it was prospected that the medical discipline and professional development would make a good progress in the future.
