Objective@#To understand the relationships between professional identification, psychological capital and job burnout and the mediation effect of psychological capital.@*Methods@#A total of 148 clinical nurses in 3A-level hospital in Wei fang City, Shandong hospital were recruited and assessed with general information questionnaire, professional identification scale, Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), and Maslach Burnout Inventory General Survey (MBI-GS).@*Results@#In the job burnout, differences in age, department, education level, marital status and length of employment reached a statistically significant level (F=3.82-10.80, all P<0.05). Job burnout was significantly negatively related to professional identification and psychological capital, respectively (r=-0.37, -0.34, all P<0.01). Professional identification positively predicted psychological capital (β=0.73, P<0.01), whereas psychological capital negatively predicted job burnout (β=-0.55, P<0.01); psychological capital played a mediating role between professional identification and job burnout.@*Conclusions@#Professional identification and psychological capital are significant predicting factors of job burnout. Psychological capital fully mediates the relationship between professional identification and job burnout.

Objective To explore the relationship between social support and professional identification among nursing students,and to examine the mediating role of resilience.Methods A total of 650 nursing students were evaluated with Social Support Rating Scale,Professional Identity Questionnaires for Nursing Students and Chinese revision of Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale.Results The scores of nursing students' social support,resilience and professional identification were (38.93±5.30),(66.79±11.93),(57.45±9.95).Professional identification could positively influence their professional identification(r=0.233-0.422,P<0.01).Resilience mediated the relationship between social support and professional identification,the effect sizes were 52.27%.Conclusions Resilience plays a mediating role between social support and professional identity.It is important to pay attention to social support and resilience and take proper interventions to promote nursing students professional identification.

Objective To analyze the relationship among the general self-efficacy,self-esteem and professional identification of nursing baccalaureate students and to provide some suggestions for educational practice. Methods A total of 403 nursing baccalaureate students in traditional Chinese medicine colleges were recruited. They were investigated with general self-efficacy scale (GSES), Rosenberg self-esteem scale(SES)and questionnaire for baccalaureate nursing students (QBNS). The relationship among general self-efficacy,self-esteem and professional identification was analyzed by multiple stepwise regression analysis. Results The mean score of general self-efficacy was 23.81± 5.27. There were significant differences in the score of general self-efficacy among different grades and enrollment methods (P<0.01). The nursing students,general self-efficacy was positively correlated with self-esteem,professional identification,professional emotion and professional skills(r=0.11-0.50, P<0.05). Conclusions Nursing educator should pay attention to the cultivation of self-esteem and professional identity in the training of nursing student in order to improve the self-efficacy of nursing students.
