@#Objective By observing the changes of angiogenesis related factors and cerebral perfusion before and after treatment in patients with large area cerebral infarction,the formation of collateral circulation of Salvia miltiorrhiza polyphenolic acid injection and its effect on the improvement of nerve function were discussed.Methods Forty-four patients with large area cerebral infarction were selected,and all subjects were randomly divided into the salvia miltiorrhiza polyphenolic acid treatment group and the conventional treatment group (control group) according to the ratio of 1:1,with sample content of 22 patients in each group. Both groups were treated with cerebral infarction dehydration,cranial pressure reduction and brain protection,and the salvia miltiorrhiza polyphenolic acid treatment group was treated with Salvia miltiorrhiza polyphenolic acid injection on the basis of the above medication. The course of treatment in both groups was 14 days. The changes of VEGF,bFGF,Ang and quasi-continuous arterial spin labeling were observed in the two groups before and 14 days after treatment. Changes in the ratio of cerebral blood flow (CBF) to CBF in the region of interest (ROI) and contralateral image region (CBF lesions/CBFnormal),as well as changes in NIHSS score and mRS score.Results Serum levels of VEGF,bFGF and Ang in the two groups increased after treatment compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Fourteen days after treatment,serum levels of VEGF,bFGF and Ang in the salvia miltiorrhiza polyphenolic acid treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment,CBF lesions/CBFnormal in the two groups were increased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Fourteen days after treatment,CBF lesions/CBFnormal in the salvia miltiorrhiza polyphenolic acid treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The NIHSS and mRS scores of the two groups decreased after treatment compared with before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05),and the salvianolic acid treatment group decreased significantly compared with the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Salvia miltiorrhiza polyphenolic acid for injection can promote angiogenesis in patients with large area cerebral infarction,and can significantly improve cerebral blood flow in diseased brain tissue,improve cerebral perfusion,and then effectively improve the symptoms of neurological impairment

OBJECTIVE: Autistic spectrum traits are postulated to lie on a continuum that extends between individuals with autism and individuals with typical development. The present study was carried out to investigate functional and network abnormalities associated with autistic spectrum trait in healthy male subjects. METHODS: Subjects were 41 healthy male subjects who underwent the social responsiveness scale-adult (SRS-A) and magnetic resonance imaging. RESULTS: There was significant positive correlation between the total score of SRS-A and the regional cerebral blood flow (CBF) in posterior cingulate cortex (PCC). Also, there were changes in functional network such as in cingulate corti, insula and fusiform cortex. Further, we also found the significant difference of functional networks between the healthy male subjects with high or low autistic spectrum trait, and these points were congruent with the previous perceptions derived from autistic-spectrum disorders. CONCLUSION: These findings suggest a biological basis for the autistic spectrum trait and may be useful for the imaging marker of autism symptomatology.

Objective To study the value of three-dimensional pseudo-continuous arterial spin labeling(3D pCASL) for estimating collateral flow after middle cerebral artery(MCA) stenosis.Methods 3D pCASL was performed in 28 cases of negative diffusion weighted imaging(DWI) patients with MCA stenosis for estimating collateral vessels formation.The post-labeling delay(PLD) of 3D pCASL was set to 1.5 s and 2.5 s.The cerebral blood flow (CBF) of 3D pCASL with two PLD was calculated by AW workstation respectively.Nineteen normal persons were regarded as the control group.The 95% confidence interval of the ratio of left/right side of CBF of control group was set as reference value.The characteristic of the ratio of stenosed/contralateral side of CBF was analyzed.The characteristics of collateral flow was investigated with digital subtraction angiography(DSA).Results Abnormal perfusion was found in 28 patiens.Two types of abnormal perfusion were found, including typeⅠ: rCBF(PLD=1.5 s) decreased,rCBF(PLD=2.5 s) was normal (n=16);typeⅡ:rCBF(PLD=1.5 s) decreased,rCBF(PLD=2.5s) decreased (n=12).On brain DSA, abundant of collateral flow supply was found in 16 patients with typeⅠabnormal perfusion,whereas deficiency of collateral flow supply was found in 12 patients with typeⅡ.Conclusion 3D pCASL with two PLDs may provide important reference value for estimating collateral flow after middle cerebral artery stenosis.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI)combined with three dimensional pseudo continuous arterial spin labeling (3D-PCASL)on the prognosis analysis of acute cerebral infarction.Methods Thirty cases with acute cerebral infarction (< 72 h)underwent conventional MRI,MRA,3D-PCASL and SWI.NIHSS scores were performed at the time of examination and 3 months later.The correlation between the collateral blood vessels,regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF)detected by combination of SWI and 3D-PCASL with clinical prognosis were analyzed.Results Twenty-three cases showed collateral blood vessels in the lesions with 1 grade in 14,and 2 grade in 9.The average rCBFs in grade 0,1,2 infarction areas were (22.69±11.94)mL·100 g-1 ·min-1 ,(25.10±16.55)mL·100 g-1 ·min-1 and (33.04±24.24)mL·100 g-1 ·min-1 ,respectively.Collateral blood vessels,rCBF were positive correlated with the NIHSS scores (r=0.989,P< 0.01).18 cases showed multiple vessels around the lesions. The average rCBFs in the infarction area with or not with periphery collateral blood vessles were (28.33±24.24)mL·100 g-1 ·min-1 and (22.69±11.94)mL·100 g-1 ·min-1 ,respectively.There was a positive correlation between rCBF and NIHSS scores (r=0.897,P<0.01). Of 30 cases of acute cerebral infarction,the average CBFs in the infarct areas and the contralateral mirror areas were (26.92±18.22)mL·100 g-1 · min-1 and (34.22±12.37)mL·100 g-1 ·min-1 .There was significant difference (t=8.093,P<0.01).Conclusion The combination of SWI and 3D-PCASL can display the collateral blood vessels in the lesions and soft meninges,and provide the quantitative analysis of rCBF,which has important clinical significance for prediction of the prognosis of acute cerebral infarction.

Objective To evaluate the value of 3D-PCASL in the pre-operation brain gliomas-grading.Methods 3D-PCASL images of 41 cases of gliomas comfirmed by pathology,including 20 cases of low-grade and 21 cases of high-grade were retrospectively analyzed. The cerebral blood flows of the solid region of tumor (TBF),1cm and 1 cm-2 cm brain tissue around the tumor,and contralateral normal brain CBF were obtained based on the region of interest (ROI),respectively.Results According to independent sample t-test,all had statisti-cally significant differences (P <0.001)between high and low-grade gliomas except the 1-2 cm region around the tumor.One-way ANO-VA displayed that all of them had its statistically significant between differences region (P <0.001)in high-grade gliomas,which had statisti-cally significant differences (P <0.001)except 1 cm and 1 -2 cm of peri-tumor in low-grade gliomas.ROC curve analysis of TBF/contralateral gray matter showed that the area under the curve was 0.96.When 2 was chosen as threshold of rCBF,there was the highest sensitivity (85.7%)and specificity (100%).The accurate rate of conventional MRI for gliomas dianosis was 76% and the ac-curate rate of conventional MRI with ASL was 93%,which was statistically significant difference (χ2 =6.61,P =0.01)between two methodson the chi-square test.Conclusion 3D-PCASL can improve the accuracy of diagnosis of different grade brain gliomas.Com-pared with others parameters,rCBF have a higher sensitivity and specificity.
