A study of the electromagnetic environment was carried out in 2 electrotherapy departments of Palma Soriano in Santiago de Cuba, in order to obtain the distribution pattern for different operability ways and exploitation of the medical-therapeutic equipment. For the electromagnetic characterization of the evaluated environments a measurement protocol was elaborated starting from the analysis of international standards and an isotropic measure was used that showed the results through contour maps. The electro-medical device Magnetomed, model 7200 was the one that contributed the most, although the maximum value of the obtained magnetic induction (19.7 µT) was below the established exhibition limit and above the exhibition limit suggested by the Bioiniciativa Work Group. It is recommended to limit the permanency of people around, while it is in operation.

RESUMO

A working group, established by the Japanese Board-certified Physiatrist Association to examine the necessary functions for an electronic medical record keeping system for rehabilitation, created a functional evaluation system for electronic medical record keeping in kaifukuki rehabilitation wards. The group conducted a survey to determine how electronic medical records are actually being used in kaifukuki rehabilitation wards. Methods : The group sent questionnaires to 153 hospitals with kaifukuki rehabilitation wards by mail. The questions included the period of usage, how satisfied they were with their system, and a self-evaluation form for their electronic medical record functional evaluation. They asked the respondents to evaluate each item from 1 to 5 points. Results : The group received answers from 82 institutions, with a valid answer rate of 53.6% in total. The median of the electronic record functional evaluation was 60.5 points. The points given varied from 1 to 5 in all items. Conclusion : It was determined that electronic medical records are equipped with a minimum of functions for rehabilitation, but also that there are great functional differences among institutions.

RESUMO

@#ObjectiveTo investigate the human resources arrangement of rehabilitation wards in general hospital.MethodsAll works of the nurses in a rehabilitation ward within 7 days were recorded with data of average man hour of Taiwan's Hospital as the standards, the daily working hours of the related number of the nurses were calculated correctly on the missing items.Resultsthe ratio of beds to nurses was 1∶0.45, the work consumed the longest time was transfusion, others followed were medical observation, distribution of medicines, prevention of bedsore, change of bed sheets and health education and so on.ConclusionThe number of hours of rehabilitation care is to be increased; it will be more reasonable to arrange rehabilitation care training in the evenings.
