RESUMO
Introducción: el objetivo de este trabajo, fue identificar y describir el modelo de cuidado de enfermería hacia la familia del paciente con Infarto al miocardio (IAM), hospitalizado en la Unidad de cuidados intensivos (UCI), del Instituto de Seguridad Social del estado de Durango y en base a ello elaborar un modelo de cuidado innovador. Materiales y Métodos: Inició el 12 de febrero del 2007 hasta el día 22 de octubre del 2008, utilizando como modelo referente el de Sistema de Salud Familiar a la Enfermería de Sistemas Familiares de Anderson 1994, se diseñaron instrumentos para recolectar datos, el diario de campo, una grabadora y guía de observación. Resultados: Se encontraron barreras que interfieren para dar cuidado de enfermería a la familia, esto aunado a los problemas que en ellas surgen por el hecho de tener un familiar dentro de este servicio y por lo que implica la enfermedad IAM, constantemente les está generando estrés representándose con respuestas psicológicas que provocan una dificultad en la familia para funcionar y adaptarse a la situación de salud afectada por el hecho de tener un familiar con esta enfermedad dentro de la UCI. Discusión y Conclusiones: Para responder a esta situación, se diseñó un modelo innovador para dar cuidado a la familia de paciente con IAM hospitalizado en esta unidad.
Introduction: the Objective this study was to identify and describe the model of nursing care to the family of the patient with myocardial infarction (AMI), hospitalized in the intensive care unit (UCI) of Durango's social security Institute, on this basis develop an innovative model of care. Materials and Methods: Started the 12th February 2007, until the 22th October 2008, using as reference model of the system of Family Health to the Nursing of Family Systems (Anderson 1994), instruments were designed to collect data, field diary, recorder and an observation guide. Results: There were barriers that interfere to give nursing care to family, this coupled with the problems that arise in them from having a family within this service and by which means the disease IAM, and this constantly is stress generating represented with psychological answers that cause a difficulty in the family to function and adapt to the situation of health affected by having a relative with this disease within of the UCI. Discussion and Conclusions: To answer this situation, was designed a innovative model to give care to the patient´s family with IAM hospitalized in this unit.
