Construction of TCM Symptoms Knowledge Representation Model Based on Ontology / 医学信息学杂志

The paper introduces the status of TCM symptoms information application,constructs the symptoms knowledge classification system by taking the TCM Diagnostics as the knowledge source,constructs the symptoms knowledge representation model based on the classification and coding technologies,and draws a conclusion that the data analysis result is consistent with the actual clinical situation based on collecting symptom data in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and correlation analysis using this model.

This article discussed about contradiction symptoms of TCM.Take the deficiency of Yin and damp-heat symptoms and the heat in the upper and cold in the lower symptoms for example,under the guidance of TCM theory,we arrived at a conclusion that the principle for treating the deficiency of Yin and damp-heat symptoms should be based on the treatment of Yin deficiency,with the treatment of damp-heat syndrome secondly; and the heat in the upper and cold in the lower symptoms should be based on guiding Yin to Yang.For conclusion,to treat the contradiction symptoms of TCM,we must review of etiology before prescription,adjust the cold and heat at the same time,consider of both the sthenia and asthenia syndrome.
