RESUMO

We focused on the traditional processing method which generates the superior quality of Yamato-shakuyaku. First, we assessed the historical literature written around Edo and Meiji period and rediscovered the traditional air drying method still inherited in Nara Prefecture. Then, we gathered and analyzed the data of medicinal plants production in Nara Prefecture among 1938 and 2019, and investigated the decline of local production and experienced agricultural techniques of peony through the transition of its yield. In order to visualize the ancient knowledge of crude drug manufacturers that contributes to the instruction of the skills for supply of seedlings, cultivation, and processing, we settled the meteorological observation devise at the outdoor drying shelf for 3 years, and recorded the real drying environment. When comparing the meteorological data with other cultivating area of peony using the estimated values of Agro-Meteorological Grid Square Data, the climate of Nara Prefecture was with high temperature and low humidity than other areas, and it seems to be quite suitable for air drying with adequate topography. The wind rose calculated by measured values of wind direction and wind speed showed the wind conditions in Nara that west wind was frequent in daytime and wind conditions are mildly but diversely changing. Among other producing areas of peony, the mechanical drying is major, whereas air-drying with low cost utilizing local environment features is still applied in Nara. We revealed the rationality of traditional methodology by digitization of meteorological factors which can be high added value.

RESUMO

Objective: To elucidate the rationality of integrated processing technology of Leonuri Herba based on comparison of chemical constituents and pharmacological effect of Leonuri Herba between traditional and integrated processing technology. Method:The contents of stachydrine hydrochloride, leonurine hydrochloride, rutin, hyperoside and isoquercetin were used as indexes to compare the differences in the contents of chemical constituents between traditional and integration processing technology of Leonuri Herba.Effect of Leonuri Herba with different processing technology on auricular swelling induced by dimethylbenzene in mice were observed to compared the differences of their anti-inflammatory effect. And rat acute blood stasis model was used to compare the differences of Leonuri Herba with different processing technology on hemorheology and blood coagulation indexes. Result:Contents of stachydrine hydrochloride, leonurine hydrochloride, rutin, hyperoside and isoquercetin in products of integrated processing were 1.558%,0.168%,0.137%,0.113% and 0.078%,they were 1.482%,0.134%,0.125%,0.082% and 0.071% in products of traditional processing, respectively. Both of the processing methods could reduce the degree of swelling and the contents of tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6 in mouse serum. And both of the processing methods could reduce the whole blood viscosity, prolong the thrombin time(TT),prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) and reduce the concentration of plasma fibrinogen(FIB) in acute blood stasis model rats. Conclusion:Compared with the traditional processing technology, the integrated processing technology is better in guaranteeing the quality of Leonuri Herba decoction pieces and reducing the production cost, which indicates that the integrated processing of Leonuri Herba is reasonable.

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the anti-dysmenorrhea efficacy of habitat fresh-cut processed and traditional processed Linderae Radix based on the dysmenorrhea model. Methods By using the estrogen-induced dysmenorrhea model of ICR mice, the effect of treatment from two different processing methods on dysmenorrhea was compared by recording the writhing reaction as well as the changes of levels of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α), vasopressin (AVP), and β-endorphin (β-EP). Results Compared with the model group, Linderae Radix from two different processing methods significantly reduced the frequency of writhing (P 0.05). Conclusion The two processing methods of Linderae Radix both have good therapeutic effect on dysmenorrhea model mice, and the effect of habitat processed Linderae Radix is not inferior to that of traditional processed Linderae Radix.

RESUMO

To discuss the inheritance and innovation study of Chinese medicine processing technology from three aspects: inheritance, standardization and industrial innovation development, propose "three lacks" in inheritance, "six lacks of standardization, and one lack of unity" in standardization, and "three emphasizing and three despising aspects" in industrial innovation, and propose feasible solutions for the above mentioned problems, providing a good foundation for inheritance and innovation of Chinese medicine processing.
