RESUMO
Este artigo discute o diagnóstico dos Transtornos Específicos do Desenvolvimento (TEDS). Ressalta sua importância na clínica psicoterápica, bem como sua classificação e suas implicações psicodinâmicas. O trabalho com a família é ressaltado, como maneira de ajudar a restauração da autoimagem do portador de TED, que é danificada. Além do necessário trabalho interdisciplinar do fonoaudiólogo e/ou psicopedagogo e do psiquiatra, às vezes, a psicoterapia é fundamental. A restauração de uma autoimagem positiva é fundamental para o processo de indivuduação desses pacientes, que necessitam deixar o lugar de paciente identificado no sistema familiar.
This article discusses the diagnosis of the Specific Developmental Disorders (SDD). It emphasizes their importance to clinical psychotherapy and its psychodynamic classification and implications. The work with the family is emphasized as a way to help restoration of the patientss self image with SDD, which is damaged.Besides the need of interdisciplinary work with audiologist and/or psychopedagogists and psychiatric, therapy is essential. The restoration of a positive self image is the key to the process of individualization of these patients.
