RESUMO

Purpose/Significance To provide high-quality health information services,to promote the coordinated development of medical and educational services,and to help build a healthy China service system.Method/Process By using the methods of network investigation,literature investigation and telephone interview,the paper investigates the current situation of teaching support services of 30 libraries of medical universities and colleges in China,and analyzes the existing problems from four aspects:teaching resource serv-ices,information literacy services,disciplinary services and service guarantee.Result/Conclusion Libraries of medical universities and colleges should establish and improve the teaching support service system,strengthen discipline teaching support services,provide accu-rate health information services,strengthen regional or departmental collaboration,and innovate intelligent service modes,so as to be-come an important driving force for healthy China initiative.

Purpose/Significance To solve the problems of understanding the connotation of courses for ideological and political edu-cation and how to integrate the ideological and political elements into the courses effectively.Method/Process The study starts from the analysis of the ideological and political education and the characteristics of the digital image processing course in medical universities and colleges,determines curriculum ideological and political education objectives,formulates curriculum ideological and political implementa-tion strategies.Result/Conclusion The study realizes the teaching content design of digital image processing course integrated the ideo-logical and political elements.Through the online and offline combination,the study explores the implementation of ideological and politi-cal thinking in medical universities and colleges courses.

The professional quality of counselors directly affects the growth of medical students and the effect of school education management.At present,the counselors' professional quality is at an overall high level in medical universities and colleges in Xinjiang that can be competent for the job requirements.However,there still exist some problems.For example,the structure of cultural knowledge is unreasonable,the professional proficiency needs to be improved,the psychological quality needs to be strengthened,and so forth.Changing the knowledge and ideas,establishing a long-term mechanism,and the counselors themselves recognizing consciously and promoting initiative are the way to improve the counselors' professional qualities in medical universities and colleges in Xinjiang.

Objective:To understand the effect and existing problems of teaching reform about primary health care demands in local medical universities and colleges.Methods:With sampling survey method,150 students from Xi'an Medical College were investigated using questionnaires.Results:Totally 93.1% of the freshmen approved of setting up the courses,72.6% of the students thought that nursing ethics and skills were equally important,43.2% of the students thought learning this course made themselves have a new understanding of nursing ethics.Totally 84.2% of the students were satisfied with the teacher's teaching process,while 69% of the students were not satisfied with the existing teaching materials.Conclusion:The teaching method oriented by practical problems and the teachers' own efforts are prerequisites for students' acceptance of this course.Content setting based on post needs is an important link of nursing ethics teaching effect.Setting up sustainable teaching time is the basis of the teaching effect.High quality teaching materials are necessary conditions to achieve the teaching orderly.

Objective To investigate employment of non medicine majors in medical universities and colleges and to provide recommendations.Methods Investigation on employment intention of 2010 grade non medicine majors in medical universities and colleges in Guangzhou was conducted.SPSS 13.0 was used to establish database and results were expressed as constituent ratio.Results Most non medicine majors wanted to find a job rather than taking postgraduate entrance exams and civil service test.Realizing their own values was the main purposes of employment.Preferred employment areas were mainly concentrated in large city(71.08%)and urban city(18.67%).Students expect a monthly salary between 3001 and 4000.Conclusions Employment intentions of non-medical students in medical universities and colleges are rational enough and career planning education should be strengthened.

O princípio de flexibilização curricular pressupõe inovações nos projetos pedagógicos, os quais incorporam, junto às atividades obrigatórias, experiências não obrigatórias. Considerando que ambas têm destaque no desenvolvimento do universitário, este estudo buscou compreender, a partir da percepção dos estudantes, a importância atribuída a cada uma dessas experiências. Os dados foram obtidos junto a 16 universitários matriculados em uma instituição de ensino superior pública, por meio de entrevistas e foram analisados qualitativamente. Dos relatos salienta-se que o mérito das experiências obrigatórias vincula-se ao seu conteúdo enquanto o caráter optativo é descrito como elemento fundamental na valorização das atividades não obrigatórias. Os resultados sugerem a necessidade de integração entre as experiências, ao invés da primazia de um ou outro grupo de atividades.


The principle of curricular flexibility foresees innovations in pedagogical projects, which incorporate, along with the mandatory activities, non-mandatory experiences. Considering the fact that both are essential in the academic development, this study sought to understand, from the students' perspective, the importance assigned to each of these experiences. The data was obtained from 16 university students enrolled in a public institution of higher education, analyzed qualitatively though interviews. Based on their results, it can be highlighted that the merit of the mandatory experiences is connected with their contents, whereas the optional character is described as a fundamental element in the estimation of the non-mandatory activities. The data suggests the need for integration between the experiences, as opposed to the prominence of one over either group of activities.


El principio de flexibilización curricular presupone innovaciones en los proyectos pedagógicos, los cuales incorporan, juntamente a las actividades obligatorias, experiencias no obligatorias. Considerando que las dos tienen destaque en el desarrollo del universitario, este estudio buscó comprender, a partir de la percepción de los estudiantes, la importancia atribuida a cada una de esas experiencias. Los datos fueron obtenidos a partir de 16 universitarios matriculados en una institución de enseñanza superior pública, a través de entrevistas y fueron analisados de forma cualitativa. De los relatos se destaca que el mérito de las experiencias obligatorias se vincula a su contenido, mientras que el carácter optativo es descrito como elemento fundamental en la valorización de las actividades no obligatorias. Los resultados sugieren la necesidad de integración entre las experiencias, en detrimento de la primacía de uno u outro grupo de actividades.

RESUMO

This paper reports the analysis on the causes of death among the staffs of the universities and colleges in Yunnan province during 1979-1989.The results show that the staffs are in good health.But it is necessary to point out that among the intellectuals,the mortality rate is rather high in the 50-years-old male group and 45-years-old femele group.Meanwhile,it is much higher than that of the middle-aged workers.This indicates that middle-aged intellec- tuals is in relatively bad health. The main diseases affecting the health and life of the staffs are malignant tumors. cardiovascular diseases,brain-vascular diseases,diseases of digestive system,wound and poisoning.
