RESUMO

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids ( PPH) for treatment of rectal mucosa prolapse. Methods The 100 patients who suffered from rectal mucosa prolapse and were planning to take surgical treatment for the first time in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2015 were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group .Patients in the treatment group(n=50) underwent PPH while patients in the control group (n=50) underwent traditional simplified mucosal plication technique .To observe the therapeutic effect of the two groups ,the average operation time ,average length of stay in hospital ,postoperative pain within 72 hours, postoperative anal function and postoperative complications of the two groups .Results There was no significant difference in the over-all treatment effect between the two groups(P>0.05).The average operation time, average length of stay in hospital, postoperative pain with-in 72 hours and postoperative anal function of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group ,and the differences were significant (P0.05).Conclusion Compare to the traditional simplified mucosal plication technique ,PPH technique has more advantages such as shorter operation time ,less anguish of patients, less complication, shorter hospitalization time, and higher security, which indicates PPH could become the preferred method for treatment of rectal mucosa prolapse .

RESUMO

Objective To compare the probability of anastomotic leak in the Chinese patients with carcinoma of esophagus using anastomat anastomose and manual anastomose in order to provide some refer -ence for patients with carcinoma of esophagus .Methods By meta-analysis, we made a comprehensive a-nalysis of 12 literatures published in China on anastomat anastomose and manual anastomose in preventing anastomotic leak in patients with carcinoma of esophagus .Results The probability of anastomotic leak in patients with carcinoma of esophagus was obvious heighten in using anastomat anastomose compared to that in using manual anastomose, with the combined odds ratio(OR)value being 0.53(95%CI:0.40-0.71) >0,( P <0.01 ).Conclusion To preventing anastomotic leak in patients with carcinoma of esophagus , anastomat anastomose is more predominant than manual anastomose .

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of the circumferential procedure for prolapsed hemorrhoids (PPH) in the treatment of third or fourth degree hemorrhoids Methods A total of 32 patients with Ⅲ or Ⅳ degree of circular prolapsed hemorrhoids received operation of PPH The mean age of the patients was 42 5 years old with hemorrhoids history of 5 42 years Results The mean operating time was 9 2 minutes and hospital stay was 3 3 days after operation Eighteen patients complained of local anal pain and 6 patients suffered from temporary urine retention after operation Postoperative bleeding was found in 7 cases on days 3 and 6 after operation, but it was cured by conservative methods No complications were found during the follow up of 2~10 months Conclusion PPH is a safe and effective treatment for hemorrhoids at the third and fourth degree with the advantages of shorter time of inpatient stay and earlier return to normal activity and quicker recovery However, the long term outcome remains to be identified

RESUMO

Objective To summarize the modern treatment of rectal cancer(RC). Methods A literature review was made on the modern therapy of RC. Results Pre-and post-operative chemotherapy and radiotherapy, mesorectal resection, and low RC resection and anastomosis using anastomat to preserve the anus could improve the resection rate, 5-year survival rate and life quality in patients with RC, as wall as could reduce recurrence rate of RC after resection. Conclusions Pre-and post-operative chemothapy and radiotherapy, mesorectal resection, anastomat application are the ideal treatment for rectal cancer nowadays.
