RESUMO

TetR family transcriptional regulators (TFRs) are widely distributed in bacteria and archaea, and the first discovered TFR was confirmed to control the expression of tetracycline efflux pump in Escherichia coli. TFRs can bind DNAs and ligands. Small molecule ligands can induce conformational changes of TFRs, inhibiting or promoting TFRs to control target gene expression. Currently, TFRs have a wide variety of ligands, including carbohydrates, proteins, fatty acids and their derivatives, metal ions, and so on. Due to the diversity of ligands, TFRs regulate a wide range of physiological processes, from basic carbon metabolism and nitrogen metabolism to quorum sensing and antibiotic biosynthesis. On the basis of the recent studies in our laboratory and the literature, we review here the regulatory mechanism mediated by ligands of TFRs in primary and secondary metabolism, as well as the application of ligands for TFRs in the development of gene route and the activation of antibiotic biosynthesis.

RESUMO

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can participate in the repair of various tissue and organ damage, but inflammation often exists in local repair area, and autophagy is induced. As a kind of self-regulating mechanism of cells, autophagy can not only regulate the physiological process of MSCs under inflamma-tory environment, but also work on anti-inflammatory environ-ment. This research focuses on the relations between inflamma-tory environment and MSCs autophagy's interaction and feed-back regulation, providing a train of thought for research of MSCs in inflammatory environment.

RESUMO

Ischemic stroke, gravely affecting human health with its increasing incidence rate , is a common disease of old age . JAK/STAT way , a recently discovered signaling pathway , is not only widely involved in processes of cell growth ,differentiation, and apoptosis ,but also closely related to the pathophysiology of stroke. However, the pathway function and mechanism in ische-mic cerebral stroke has not yet been fully elucidated .We will review the role and mechanism of JAK/STAT signal transduction pathway in ischemic stroke ,and scientifically draw network chart between various related signal molecules in the process of ische-mic stroke neuropathy combining both domestic and foreign re-search reported in this paper , in order to better understand the pathological mechanism process of brain stroke , find new drugs for the treatment of cerebral ischemic diseases ,then provide more systematic scientific literature support .

RESUMO

We sought to determine whether VEGF and other angiogenic growth factors and their receptors might be subject to negative feedback regulation during two weeks of treadmill-exercise conditioning in inbred strains of mice. C57BL/6 mice exhibited greater VEGF mRNA and protein responses in gastrocnemius muscle to a single bout of treadmill exercise compared to BALB/c mice. The patterns of VEGF, VEGFR1, VEGFR2, Ang2 and Tie2 mRNA expression in gastrocnemius muscles of C57BL/6 mice during long-term exercise support the hypothesis that they may be subject to negative feedback regulation. The combination of expression patterns for growth factors and their receptors suggests that multiple layers of control mechanisms may exist to prevent angiogenesis following a single bout of exercise and to promote angiogenesis following long-term exercise.

RESUMO

miRNAs were discovered less than a decade ago, and have emerged as important regulators of gene expression in mammals. A large number of miRNAs have been identified to be located within the intronic regions of protein-encoding genes(host genes) and called intronic miRNAs. The intronic miRNAs may play a key role in regulating the expression and function of their host genes due to the fact that most of them are co-expressed with the host genes. In this paper, the recent advances on the research on potential relationship between intronic miRNAs and their host genes are reviewed.

RESUMO

The quality of the experimental courses in microbiology was improved by using key-point control and feedback regulation which come from total quality control (TQC). In this article key-point, key-point control, feedback information and feedback regulation were defined. The characteristic of key-point control and feedback regulation were analyzed in the experiment of gram-dyeing in detail.

RESUMO

The effect of hydrocortisone (135 nag i.v. as a bolus) on the levels of serum N-POMC was studied in the patients with Cushing's disease [including three groups: untreated (CD, n=8), post-adrenolectomy without Nelson's syndrome (CDA, n=5), and Nelson's syndrome (NS, n=4)]; Addison's disease (AD, n = 13) and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH, n=4). The results showed that the levels of serum N-POMC were decreased after the administration of hydrocortisone in all three groups of Cushing's disease, however the suppression rate of N-POMC was much lower in these groups than that in AD and CAH (P
