RESUMO

The paper was aimed to review the modeling methods of spleen-yang deficiency, which can be classified into imitating traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) etiology methods and modern medicine methods. At present, methods of modeling were not generally accepted and the main presented problems were as follows. Modern medicine methods did not conformed to the rules of TCM etiology and pathogenesis. The evaluation of yang deficiency models was not accurate. Some modeling methods can lead to other diseases at the same time. The names of spleen deficiency model were not unified. It was difficult to distinguish the modeling methods of spleen-yang deficiency and spleen-qi deficiency, and etc. Model evaluation of spleen-yang deficiency was various. However, the domestic standard evaluation system had not been formed. The main model evaluation problems were as follows. Macro symptoms of the model lacked of objective and quantitative evaluation. It lacked of evaluation indexes of pulse and tongue with TCM characteristics. The disproof of prescription selection was not unified. Similar syndromes had not been ruled out. The microscopic indexes were fragmented, and etc. This paper reviewed on animal modeling methods of spleen-yang deficiency.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate effects of high fat-salt diet on change of growth and development, body fat distribution insulin sensitivity and associated metabolic indexes for juvenile rats. Methods 50 grams of male, female SD juvenile rats (3 weeks, just weaned) were randomly divided into 3 groups,12-14 animals in each group, were given routine diet (NC) and high fat diet (FC) and high fat-salt diet (FSC) .Then the body weight,,body length, abdominal circumference, blood pressure, visceral fat weight, plasma lipids were measured 4 weeks later,at the same time oral glucose tolerance test and insulin release test were performed. Results In the FSC group, body weight, abdominal circumference, blood pressure, visceral fat, plasma glucose and insulin level significantly increased than the NC group, plasma lipid disorders increased and significant insulin resistance occurred. Conclusion High fat and high salt could successfully induced obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia and impaired glucose tolerance.

RESUMO

AIM: To observe the effect of Jianpixiaoshi Pill (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, Radix Aucklandiae, etc.) METHODS: We conducted the humoral immunity test, intestine peristal sis test, gastric emptying test, gastric analysis test on rat's and mouse's mode ls of splee n weak by oral administration of Rhubarb root lard and cabbag e, respectively. RESULTS: On mice fed on Rhubarb root, Jianpixiaoshi i Pill can effectively potentiate immunity, improve the velocity of stomach and intestine, expedite the advance speed of ink in the small intestine and the velo city of gastric emptying, reduce the residual rate of methyl orange in stomach. On rats fed on lard and cabbage, J ianpixiaoshi Pill can gain mouse's weight improved, increase the total acidity of the gastric juice and the activity of pepsin. CONCLUSION: Jiah pixiaoship Pill has remarkable effect on improvin g the function of intestine and stomach.
