RESUMO

Objective T o observe the expression changes of hypoxia inducible factor-1α (H IF-1α) and vascular endothelial grow th factor-A (V E G F-A ) in rats w ith arrhythm ias, and to explore the differences of the expression pattern in the tw o indicators of acute m yocardial ischem ia caused by arrhythm ias and coronary insufficiency. Methods T he arrhythm ia w as induced by C aC l2, and the expression changes of H IF-1α and V E G F-A w ere detected by im m unohistochem istry, W estern blotting and real-tim e PC R w ithin 6 h after the arrhythm ia in rats. Results T he expression of H IF-1α and V E G F-A show ed diffuse in the m yocardial tissue of rats died from arrhythm ias. B oth of them increased in the early arrhythm ia, then decreased. E xtensive m yocardial ischem ia happened at the beginning of arrhythm ia occurrence and its range didn't expand w ith tim e. Conclusion T he expressions of H IF-1α and V E G F-A in m yocardium of the rats w ith arrhythm ia can provide evidence for the differential diagnosis of acute m yocardial is-chem ia caused by fatal arrhythm ia and coronary insufficiency.

RESUMO

Objective To observe the expression of phosphatase and tensin hom ology deleted on chrom o-som e ten (PTEN) in m yocardial tissue in patients w ith coronary heart disease, and explore the relevance betw een the expression of PTEN and the occurrence and developm ent of coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 16 death cases w ith pathological diagnosis of coronary heart disease w ere collected as experi-m ental group, and 19 cases w ithout m yocardial lesions w ere selected as control group. The expression of PTENprotein and its m RNA w ere detected by im m unohistochem istry and real-tim e fluorescence quanti-tative PC R respectively. The correlation betw een the expression of PTEN and the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease w as analyzed. Results The expression of PTENprotein in myocardium in cases w ith coro-nary heart disease w as significantly low er com pared w ith the control group (P0.05). Conclusion PTEN m ay be involved in the occurrence and developm ent of coronary heart disease.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the pathological features and significance of m yocardial contraction band necrosis in sudden cardiac death. Methods Using HE and PTA Hstaining, the distribution sites and pathological features of m yocardial contraction band necrosis were observed. The data were analyzed accord-ing to the extent of necrosis. Results The locations, pathological features and the extent of necrosis were sim ilar in different sudden death cases. The locations were related with sites of m yocardial dam age. The papillary m uscles of left ventricular were m ost occurred, followed by the anterior wall of left ventricular. In the sudden death cases caused by stress cardiom yopathy, the extent of m yocardial contraction band necrosis was lighter than the others. Most cases were predom inantly level 1, the others were level 2. Conclusion Used as the diagnosis basis of acute m yocardial ischem ia, the m yocardial contraction band necrosis has im portant significance to determ ination of death.
