RESUMO

Objective To explore the effect of medlar polysaccharide(MP) on blood fat metabolism of rat with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods 40 SD rats were randomly divided into a blank control group(n=7), and a NAFLD model group (n=33). The control group was treated with normal forage, and the control group was treated with high-fat forage. After 8 weeks, 30 NAFLD models were successfully established and divided into three groups randomly: a LBP intervention group (treatment group, n=10) was perfused with 60 mg/(kg?d)MP, a simvastatin intervention group(control group, n=10) was perfused with 5mg/(kg?d) simvastatin, and a model group(model group,n=10) was perfused with the same volume of water along with high fat diet at the same time. After 8 weeks, triglycerides, total cholesterol, ALT, AST, leptin, and adiponectin in the plasma in rat were test. Malondialdehyde, Superoxide Dismutase and Gamma glutamyl cysteinyl glycine were also detected in the liver tissue. Results After 8 weeks, the contents of TG (0.94 ± 0.09 mmol/Lvs.1.19 ± 0.13 mmol/L), TC (2.15 ± 0.20 mmol/L vs. 3.52 ± 0.29 mmol/L), ALT (41.75 ± 4.14 U/L vs. 55.34 ± 5.38 U/L), AST (129.61 ± 12.07 U/L vs. 164.96 ± 15.49 U/L), LP (235.69 ± 23.52 pg/ml vs. 284.01 ±29.43 pg/ml) were decreased, the contents of ADP (35.47 ± 3.09 μg/L vs. 26.31 ± 2.58 μg/L) was increased in serum of the treatment group compared with the model group (P<0.05 orP<0.01);the contents of SOD (92.40 ± 8.89 U/mg vs. 61.60 ± 5.89 U/mg), GSH (22.25 ± 2.21 mg/g vs. 15.50 ± 1.36 mg/g)were increased, and the contents of MDA (0.84 ± 0.08 nmol/mg vs. 1.07 ± 0.09 nmol/mg) was decreased in liver tissue of the treatment group compared with the model group (P<0.05 orP<0.01). HE stain showed that the treatment group improved the injury. Conclusions Medlar polysaccharide(MP) can inhibit lipid peroxidation by adjusting lipid metabolism.

RESUMO

Objective To study of effects Medlar flavone on NO and NOS in H 2 O2 damaged vascular endothelial cells.Meth-ods Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells(HUVEC)have been set as research object.HUVEC cells was damaged by H 2 O2 in-duced oxidative stress.Experiments were divided into normal control group,H 2 O2 injury group,VitC control group, and low,medi-um,high flavonoids protective groups(100,200,400 mg/L).MTT method was used to observe cells activity. The effects Medlar fla-vone on MDA、TNOS、iNOS and NO in H 2 O2 damaged vascular endothelial cells was observed. Results (1)MTT result demonstra-ted the IR of HUVEC cells was 38.8% in H 2 O2 injury group.Which in low, medium, high flavonoids protective groups were 34.0%,30.7%,25.5%.All were lower than H 2 O2 injury group(P <0.01).(2)Compared with normal control group,NOS activity was decreased in H 2 O2 injury cell, while TNOS,iNOS,NO was more.Compared H 2 O2 group, the change of NO,TNOS,iNOS, MDA was opposite in flavone intervention group, and which were dose dependent (P <0.01 ).Conclusion Medlar flavone has a protective effect on H 2 O2 induced HUVEC cells injury, and there may be some kind of relevance between them.

RESUMO

Objective To study the effect of cellulase on the extraction rate of medlar total saccharide, considering three factors of temperature, time and quantity of cellulose. The best extracting condition was determined according to the require of sphere symmetry design. Methods Add cellulase liquid into the medlar slurry and determine the content of medlar total saccharide by DNS method. Result The extraction rate of medlar total saccharide was increased 1.66% by cellulase at temperature of 60 ℃, time of 300 s and cellulase volume of 5 mL. Conclusion Cellulase can promote the extraction rate of medlar total saccharide.

A folha é hipoestomática, revelando estômatos anomocíticos.

The leaves of Eriobotrya japonica , Rosaceae, popularly known as loquat, are used in folk medicine for their hypoglycemic properties and to treat cutaneous diseases. The aim of this work was to study the leaf morpho-anatomy of the drug for pharmacognostic and taxonomic purposes. The botanical material was prepared for the usual optical and scanning microtechniques. The leaves are simple, alternate and lanceolate, with entire blade and dentate margins. The epidermis is uniseriate and coated by a thick and slightly striated cuticle. Both surfaces are hairy, particularly the lower, with long unicellular non-glandular trichomes. Anomocytic stomata occur exclusively on the lower surface. The mesophyll is dorsiventral and the small bundles are collateral and may present sheath extensions. The midrib has got biconvex shape and the petiole round contour, both showing amphicrival bundles. Idioblasts containing calcium oxalate crystals, mucilage and phenolic compounds were observed.
