RESUMO

Objective To study the intervention effect and mechanism of integripetal rhodiola herb (IRH) on Alzheimer’s disease model rats. Methods Alzheimer’s disease model was made by injecting D-galactose (10 mg/mL) in abdominal cavity and taking AlCl3 (20 mg/mL) by intragastric administration, and injecting scopolamine. Morris water maze testing system was undertaken to observe the change of learning and memory ability in rats, biochemical indicator tested was to contrast the state of oxidative stress, common HE staining and immunohistchemistry staining were to observe the morphology change of the hippcampus and cortex cell. The model rats were administrated IRH by means of intragastric administration contrasting with hydergine to compare the effect. Results The memory ability of model group was obviously decreased, cellula nervosa were damaged badly. A? and senile plaques appeared on hippcampus and cortex. All of the test indexes in Morris water maze showed that the abilities of space search, learning and memory in different groups remarkably improved compared with that of the model group (P

RESUMO

Objective To study the effects of Rhodiola herb on behavior and the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax protein in hippocamps of vascular dementia rat induced by chonic cerebral ischemia. And the protective effect of Rhodiola herb was studied. Methods VD model was formed by adopting the permanent occlusion of bilateral carotid arteries in Wistar rats to produce the forebrain ischemia.Cognitive ability of rats were studied with the Morris water maze. The expression of Bcl-2 and Bax protein in the hippocampus were determined with immunohistochemical staining. Results VD model may decrease cognitive ability(P

RESUMO

Objective To find the effect of Rhodiola herb on the phenotypic transfer of epithelial cell in renal tubule of adriamycin-induced nephropathy rats. Methods The rat nephropathy model is established by adriamycin. For Rhodiola herb treated group, feed with Rhodiola herb 0.672 g/kg?d from the 4th week, for the control group and neohropathy group, feed with water [3 mL/(kg?d)].Kill the rats per batch at the week of 4th,8th,12th,16thand 20th week, observe the pathological change of nephridial tissue, test the expression of ?-SMA-protein of myofibroblast in the tuhulointerstitial. Results A semi-quantitative analysis of ?-SMA of rats at the 16th week in the nephropathy group is 6.24?0.57,which is obviously higher than that of Rhodiola herb treated group,3.84?0.28(P

RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the effect of IRH on pulmonary fibrosis and its intervention mechanism.Methods:45 sprague-dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups. The model group and the intervention group were received endotracheal injection of bleomycln to induce pulmonary fibrosis, while the control group were received endotracheal injection of saline. From the second day the intervention group IRH were injected to the stomach, while the other two groups were injected saline instead. On the 7th day,14th day and 28th day the lungs were isolated. The expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-1 was detected by immunohistochemical method respectively. Results:There was only a very weak expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-1 in the control group, there was significantly higher level in model group compared with control group on the 7th day,14th day and 28th day.The IRH group was significantly lower than the model group with the same time points, though it was also obviously higher than the control group all over the period(P
