RESUMO
El presente artículo forma par te del plan de beca de maestría: "El carácter: defensa frente a lo real y/o testimonio de lo real mismo. Un recorrido conceptual y sus consecuencias en la clínica psicoanalítica". Siendo su marco el Proyecto UBACyT 2013-2016: "Síntoma-sinthome: las huellas freudianas en la última enseñanza de Lacan", dirigido por el Dr. Prof. Osvaldo L. Delgado. Este trabajo se propone examinar los conceptos: síntoma y carácter, en la obra freudiana, con el objetivo de indagar un aspecto del carácter susceptible a la interpretación propuesto por Freud en sus desarrollos; y, por otro lado, reflexionar sobre la relación entre el núcleo del síntoma refractario a la interpretación y el concepto de rasgo de carácter.
This article is part of the master´s scholarship plan: "Character: defense against the real and /or testimony of the real itself. A conceptual journey and its impact on clinical psychoanalysis". Its framework is 2013-2016 UBACyT Project: "Symptom- Sinthome: The freudian fingerprints on the last teaching of Lacan", directed by Prof. Dr. Osvaldo L. Delgado. This paper aims to examine the concepts: symptom and character, in Freud's work with the aim to investigate an aspect of the character susceptible to the interpretation proposed by Freud in his development; and, on the other hand, to reflect on the relationship between the core of the refractory symptom to the interpretation and the concept of character trait.

El presente texto busca despejar algunos principios para la comprensión del síntoma, realizando un abordaje a los textos de Freud y Lacan con los que se busca elucidar la constitución del sentido en el síntoma, su génesis, su estatuto inconsciente, su relación con la satisfacción pulsional y con ello poder comprender el goce del síntoma. Poder constatar esto, implica darle una vuelta a los principios que Freud y Lacan advierten en su teoría, para así comprender ¿por qué un síntoma cobra vida?, ¿cómo un síntoma logra decir algo?, y más aún ¿por qué un sujeto goza de su síntoma? Acercarse a una respuesta, permite tomar posición en la clínica del síntoma para pensar su orientación.
This paper seeks to clear up some principles to the understanding of the symptom by addressing the Freudian and Lacanian texts in order to elucidate the constitution of meaning in the symptom, its genesis, its unconscious status, its relation to the satisfaction of the drive, and thereby to understand the jouissance of the symptom.This implies to turn the principles that both Freud and Lacan state in their theory and thus to understand these questions: Why does a symptom come alive? How does a symptom achieve to say something? And even more, why does a subject enjoy his/her symptom? Approaching an answer allows us to take a position on the clinic of the symptom to think about its orientation.
Basé sur des textes de Freud et Lacan, cet article cherche à éclaircir certains principes pour la compréhension du symptôme afin d'élucider la constitution du sens dans ce dernier, sa genèse, sa condition inconsciente, son rapport à la satisfaction pulsionnelle, pour pouvoir ainsi comprendre la jouissance du symptôme.Pour ce faire il est nécessaire de revisiter les principes que Freud et Lacan signalent dans leur théorie, dans le but de comprendre pourquoi un symptôme naît, comment arrive-t-il à signifier quelque chose, et encore pourquoi un sujet jouit-il de son symptôme. Tenter de répondre à cela permet de prendre position dans la clinique du symptôme pour penser ainsi à son approche.
