RESUMO

To study the chemical constituents from the the deep-sea fungus Alternaria sp. F49. Seven compounds were isolated from the EtOAc extract by using silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, ODS and HPLC methods. Based on the spectroscopic analysis, their structures were identified as (8R)-5-O-methyl-orcinotriol (1), orcinotriol (2), α-acetylorcinol (3), 3'-hydroxyalternariol 5-O-methyl ether (4), altenusiol (5), altenusin (6), and 5'-methoxy-6-methyl-biphenyl-3,4,3'-triol (7). (8R)-5-O-Methyl-orcinotriol (1) is a new phenolic compound which has never been reported in the literature. Compounds 4-7 showed strong DPPH free radical scavenging activity; whereas compounds 1-7 showed strong ABTS free radical scavenging activity.

RESUMO

A new polyketide:3R, 5R-(-)-talaroflavone (2), along with 15 known compounds were isolated from a EtOAc extract of a sponge-derived fungus Alternaria sp. F49. Compounds 1-2 and 3-4 were separated as two pairs of enantiomers by chiral HPLC from Ⅰ and Ⅱ. The structures of compounds 1-16 were elucidated by means of NMR and MS. Furthermore, the absolute configurations of compounds 1-2 were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction experiment and CD analyses. Compounds 6, 8-10 were isolated from this genus (Alternaria sp.) for the first time. Compound 16 showed moderate COX-2 enzyme inhibitory activity with IC50of 7.3 μmol·L-1.

RESUMO

Objective: To study the secondary metabolites of sponge-derived fungus Penicillium sp. HPQJ10. Methods: The compounds were isolated and purified by chromatographic methods on silica gel, Sephadex-LH20 columns and semi-prep HPLC. The structures were established on the basis of spectroscopic data interpretation. Results: Forteen compounds were isolated and identified as N-[(Z)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl) ethenyl] formamide (1), 2,4-dimethoxyphenyl acetate (2), 6,8,5′6′-tetrahydroxy-3′- methylflavone (3), 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (4), cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Val) (5), cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Leu) (6), diisobutyl phthalate (7), dibutyl phthalate (8), 7-hydroxy-2-(2-hydroxyPropyl)-5-methyl chromone (9), 2-(2,4-dimethoxylphenyl)-3-(4-hydroxybenzyl)-1,2,4-triazole (10), (22E,24R)-ergenol-5,7,22-trien-3β-ol (11), cyclo-(Leu-Pro-Ile-Pro) (12), 2,4-dimethoxybenzoic acid (13), and 3-methoxyphenol (14). Conclusion: Except for compounds 1, 3, 10, and 11, other compounds are isolated from Penicillium sp. for the first time.

RESUMO

We have carried out the investigation on a sponge-derived fungus,which was identified as Emericella variecolor from the south sea of China. Two new chemical constituents,(+)-2-acetyl-dihydroterrein (1) and (+)-3-acetyl-dihydroterrein (2),with four known compounds,anditomin (3),andilesin A (4),andilesin C (5) and andilesin B (6),were isolated from this fungus by column chromatography over silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, and ODS. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including NMR,HR-ESI-MS,and CD.
