RESUMO

Objective To investigate the types of commonly used anti-hypertensive drugs and hypoglycemic drugs and treatment schemes to provide a basis for rationally treating hypertension complicating type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods The medication situation in 191 patients with hypertension complicating T2DM in our hospital were analyzed and investigated. The use of anti-hypertensive drugs and hypoglycemic drugs and treatment scheme were statistically analyzed. Results In 191 patients with hypertension complicating T2DM,the single drug use in the anti-hypertensive scheme accounted for 9.42 %,two-drug combined use accounted for 64.91%,three-drug combined use for 17.8 % and four-drug combined use for 7.85 %.The medication of ARB+CCB had the highest use frequency;the anti-hypertensive total effective rate was 96.86 %.In the hypoglycemic schemes, the insulin use accounted for 30.37%,and the use frequency of metformin+ gliclazide was highest, the hypoglycemic total effective rate was 98.43%.Conclusion The medication for the patients suffering from hypertension complicating T2DM is relatively reasonable, and worth of being popularized and applied in clinical practice.

RESUMO

Objective To analyze the use of hypoglycemic agents of diabetic adult patients who were managed in the Community Health Service Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan .Methods By analyzing of fol-low-up record of 647 adults with diabetes of the Community Health Service Center outpatient in 2014 to understand about their drug use .Results The ages of prevalence of adult diabetes were 50 to 79 years old (79 .29% ) ,of which the majority of pa-tients aged 60 or older (73 .11% ) ,men are more than women ;the using of antidiabetic monotherapy accounted for 61 .36% , the two drugs together accounted for 34 .93% ,and three or more drugs accounted for 3 .71% ;α-glucosidase inhibitors ,met-formin ,insulin secretagogues are the highest frequency of use ;outpatient diabetics administered orally based .Conclusion The medication use of diabetes in this community was consisted with the requirement of ChinaGuideline for Type 2 Diabetes (2013 edition) .

RESUMO

Objective To provide references for reasonable procurement planning, TCM decoction pieces reserving and clinical medication guarantee by analyzing the usage of TCM decoction pieces and granules from 2011 to 2014 in Zhuhai Hospital of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (hereinafter referred to as Zhuhai Hospital). Methods The sale data of TCM decoction pieces and granules during 2011-2014 in the database of Zhuhai Hospital were analyzed. Sales quantity, sales amount of the category and single pieces of TCM decoction pieces and granules ranking the first 10 were analyzed. Results The sales quantity and amount of TCM decoction pieces and granules were increasing from 2011 to 2014. The usage weight ratio and usage amount ratio between TCM decoction pieces and granules was stable. The top 10 categories and single pieces in sales quantity and amount were also stable. Conclusion Zhuhai Hospital has its own characteristics in TCM types, categories and dosage forms. TCM decoction pieces play an important part in clinical treatment in Zhuhai Hospital.

RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the utilization of total parenteral nutrition ( TPN) in a hospital to provide reference for the clinical rational drug use. Methods:The utilization and trend of TPN in the surgical inpatients during August 2012 to July 2013 in the hospital were analyzed statistically. Results:Totally 116 patients received TPN with 1 013 times, and the patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumor accounted for 48. 3%. The average use day was (8. 7 ± 3. 2) d and the total energy was within the range of 900-1 500 kcal. The number of prescription with glycolipid ratio below 1 was 878 (86. 7%), that with hot nitrogen ratio of 100-150 was 689 (68. 0%), that with monovalent cation concentration below 150 mmol·L-1 was 1 008 (99. 5%), that with divalent cation concentra-tion below 5 mmol·L-1 was 879 (86. 8%), that with glutamine was 765 (75. 5%) and that with sugar and insulin ratio (g:u) be-low 3 was 42 (4. 1%). Conclusion:The maln problem in the TPN application in the hospital is that glycolipid ratio in the majority of prescriptions is low, and irrational hot nitrogen ratio, excessive cation concentration and insulin dosage appeared in the minority of pre-scriptions. Clinicians should strengthen the learning of parenteral nutrition knowledge and clinical pharmacists should actively perform reasonable intervention in the TPN prescriptions to promote the reasonable TNP therapy and improve the therapeutic effect.

RESUMO

Objective To realize the utilization of antibacterial drugs in pediatric inpatients in Children's Hospital for clinical reference of rational use of drugs. Methods By a retrospective study, 180 cases in pediatric inpatients were randomly sampled in Children's Hospital from July to December 2012, and were analyzed in utility rate, antibiotics varieties, administrational frequency, single dose, combination use, prophylaxis time, courses of drug use, etc. Results The use of antibacterial drugs in pediatric inpatients was 110 cases (61.1%) and used in combination was 55 cases (50%) . Leading the list in terms of DDDs was cephalosporins, followed byβ-lactam and its enzyme inhibitor complex preparations. The improper medications frequency was 12 cases (10.9%), irrational single dose was 7 cases (6.4%), and irrational course of treatment was 9 cases (8.2%) . Conclusion The utilization of antibacterial drugs in Children's Hospital is basically rational, but there still exist some irrational drug uses, such as antibiotics varieties,no indication, irrational dosage, long duration and irrational combination. So, it is necessary to enhance the administration of antibiotics use and improve the level of clinical reasonable application of antibiotics.
