RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To compare the clinical effect of wrist-ankle needle combined with opioid drugs and opioid drugs alone in treating refractory cancer pain.@*METHODS@#Sixty patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 30 cases in each one. The opioid drugs in accordance with the three-step analgesic principle and other auxiliary drugs were treated in the control group. On the basis of the treatment in the control group, wrist-ankle needle was added in the observation group, and acupoints were selected according to the pain site and the primary focus, the treatment was given once a day for 10 days. The visual analogue scale (VAS) score, the times of pain outbreaks and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared at the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th days of treatment and the 3rd and 7th days after treatment. The therapeutic effect in the two groups were compared after treatment.@*RESULTS@#Compared with the control group, the VAS scores in the observation group were significantly reduced from the 2nd day of wrist-ankle needle treatment, and continued to the 3rd day after the end of the treatment (0.05); compared with the control group, the times of pain outbreaks in the observation group decreased from the 2nd day to the 10th day of treatment (all <0.05); the incidence of nausea, vomiting and constipation in the observation group was significantly reduced compared with the control group (<0.05); the total effective rate in the observation group was 86.7% (26/30), which was higher than 76.7% (23/30) in the control group (<0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#Wrist-ankle needle combined with opioid drugs can increase the efficacy of the refractory cancer pain and reduce the adverse reactions of opioid drugs.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect difference between wrist-ankle needle therapy combined with patient controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) and simple PCIA for pain after laparoscopic surgery for eccyesis.

METHODSNinety-eight patients were assigned into an observation group and a control group by random number table, 49 cases in each one. General static inhalation combined anesthesia was used in the two groups. Simple PCIA for pain was applied in the control group. Wrist-ankle needle therapy at bilateral ankle area 1 and 2 combined with PCIA were implemented in the observation group. The pain state of cut was recorded by visual analogue scale (VAS) 1 h, 2 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 36 h and 48 h after surgery. The total effective rates and adverse reaction rates within 48 h after surgery were compared between the two groups.

RESULTSThe VAS scores 6 h, 12 h and 24 h after surgery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (all<0.01), and the scores in the other time points were not statistically different (all>0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.0% (48/49), which was better than 83.7% (41/49) of the control group (<0.05). The adverse reaction rate of the observation group was 12.2% (6/49), and that of the control group was 69.4% (34/49), with statistical difference (<0.01).

CONCLUSIONWrist-ankle needle therapy combined with PCIA can effectively relieve pain after laparoscopic surgery for eccyesis, and reduce adverse reaction rate after surgery.

RESUMO

This study was aimed to analyze documents of wrist-ankle needle method in clinical application by metrology from 2002 to 2011 . The analysis showed that the wrist-ankle needle method was widely used in more than 50 kinds of diseases of locomotor system disease , nervous system disease , surgical disease , urogeni-tal system disease, integumentary system, and etc. There is still a high clinical value for further research.

RESUMO

Objective:To study on mechanisms of wrist-ankle acupuncture for prevention and treatment of peripheral neuritis complicated by diabetes. Methods:Ninety cases of peripheral neuritis complicated by diabetes were treated respectively by wrist-ankle acupuncture and body acupuncture, with western medicine routine treatment used as control group,30 cases in each group. The therapeutic effects and laboratory results were compared. Results:Therapeutic effects in wrist-ankle acupuncture group and body-acupuncture group were significantly superior to that in control group, with no significant difference between wrist-ankle acupuncture and body-acupuncture group.Conclusion:Wrist-ankle acupuncture can improve blood glueose and metabolism blood lipids, decrease blood viscosity and recover function of peripheral nerve cells and it has a definite effect on diabetic peripheral neuritis.
