Uma história da Psicologia Aplicada ao Trabalho: os Arquivos Brasileiros de Psicotécnica / A history of Work Applied Psychology: the Arquivos Brasileiros de Psicotécnica

Esta pesquisa objetivou descrever e analisar publicações veiculadas nos Arquivos Brasileiros de Psicotécnica, vinculadas à Psicologia Aplicada ao Trabalho, entre 1949 e 1968. Metodologicamente, é uma investigação em História Social da Psicologia que se apropria de estratégias de sociobibliometria e História Digital da Psicologia. Os resultados encontrados sugerem que a Psicologia esteve presente com estudos e intervenções à serviço das diretrizes desenvolvimentistas estabelecidas pelo Estado, e também contemplou o indivíduo e sua relação com o meio como eixo de estudos que repercutissem na vida do trabalhador, a partir da interação sujeito-trabalho. Assim, historicizar a Psicologia Aplicada ao Trabalho permitiu tatear contribuições de diferentes propostas teórico-metodológicas que viabilizaram novas perspectivas e repercutiram no desenvolvimento da própria Psicologia brasileira, em especial à voltada para o trabalho e as organizações, e que repercutiram na constituição da Psicologia enquanto profissão.

This research paper aimed to describe and analyze articles published in Arquivos Brasileiros de Psicotécnica, linked to Applied Psychology to labor settings. This is an investigation based on the Social History of Psychology that applies strategies from sociobibliometrics, and Digital History of Psychology. The results suggest that Psychology participated actively with studies and interventions at the service of the developmental guidelines established by the State, and has also placed the individual and his relationship with the environment as an axis of studies that had repercussions on the worker's life, stemming from the subject-work interaction. Thus, historicizing Applied Psychology to labor settings has made it possible to grasp contributions from different theoretical and methodological propositions that have enabled new perspectives and have resonated in the development of Brazilian Psychology itself, especially the one focused on labor and organizations, and which have led to the constitution of Psychology as a profession.

Psicotecnia: historia de un encuentro entre la psicología y la técnica / Psicotecnia. Story of an encounter between psychology and technique

La Historia de la Psicología constituye un campo privilegiado de reflexión sobre los procesos de construcción y transformación de los discursos y las prácticas de la Psicología a lo largo del tiempo, permitiendo situar en perspectiva la compleja diversidad disciplinar. La historia que recorre este artículo se propone describir, analizar y explicitar las condiciones que permitieron la emergencia de la Psicotecnia y sus primeras aplicaciones. Los orígenes de la Psicotecnia se ubican a comienzos del siglo XX y sus fundamentos teóricos se basaron en las derivaciones de la psicología experimental y en los aportes de la psicología de las diferencias individuales. Con herramientas derivadas de este entrecruzamiento, la psicología comenzaba a abordar demandas sociales y empresariales. La Primera Guerra Mundial marcó un momento de expansión y consolidación de la Psicotecnia. Cada uno de los países participantes en la guerra, convocaron a la Psicología para resolver cuestiones relacionadas con la selección, formación, rehabilitación, etc., de sus tropas. Tras la finalización de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el término Psicotecnia, asociado a los países derrotados o debilitados por la guerra, se eclipsa y literalmente desaparece del concierto internacional. En su lugar se impone el término Psicología Aplicada que contaba tradicionalmente con el respaldo americano...

The History of Psychology is a privileged field of reflection on the processes of construction and transformation of the discourses and practices of psychology over time, allowing put into perspective the complex diversity of our discipline. The story that follows this article aims to describe, analyze and explain the conditions that allowed the emergence of Applied Psychology [Psicotecnia] and its first applications. The origins of the "Psicotecnia" are located at the beginning of the twentieth century and were based on referrals of experimental psychology and the contributions of the psychology of individual differences. With tools derived from this crossing, psychology began to address social and business demands. The First World War marked a period of expansion and consolidation of "Psicotecnia". Each of the countries participating in the war, called for psychology to resolve issues related to the selection, training and rehabilitation of their troops. After the end of the Second World War, the term "Psicotecnia" associated with the defeated or weakened countries during the war, literally disappears from the international arena. Instead, the term Applied Psychology ­that traditionally had US backing­ is imposed.

A Psicologia Política é um campo de conhecimento de natureza interdisciplinar e que possui seu desenvolvimento histórico pouco investigado. Essa realidade faz com que muitos dos sentidos possíveis para ela sejam ainda um desafio investigativo e, do ponto de vista da filosofia e da história do conhecimento, urgem pesquisas que ajudem a pensar as relações entre passado, presente e futuro da mesma. Portanto, neste artigo nossa intenção é contribuir, sem esgotar, para o aclaramento dessa situação. Particularmente no Brasil, podemos dizer que são muitas as questões a serem investigadas. Assim, por esse motivo procuramos incursionar no universo das obras de Victor de Britto e de Oliveira Vianna, autores do princípio do século XX e no desenvolvimento institucional do campo a partir dos anos de 1980. Nesse sentido, o presente texto serve como um mapa geral dos caminhos da Psicologia Política brasileira e das diversas possibilidades de pesquisa que ainda precisam ser enfrentadas pela comunidade acadêmica...

The Political Psychology is a field of knowledge of an interdisciplinary nature and its historical development that has little investigated. This reality makes many possible directions for it are still challenging investigative and from the point of view of philosophy and the history of knowledge, research that help urge to think the relationship between past, present and future of the same. So in this article we intend to contribute, without exhausting, for clearing this situation. Particularly in Brazil, we can say that there are many issues to be investigated. So for this reason we seek to penetrate the universe of works of Victor Britto and Oliveira Vianna, authors of the early twentieth century and the institutional development of the field from the 1980s.
