Agentes Comunitários de Saúde são estratégicos no trabalho da Atenção Básica, por conviverem mais diretamente com as questões de saúde no território, e o enfrentamento dos problemas relacionados ao uso de álcool e outras drogas requer investimento na qualificação desses profissionais. O artigo relata a experiência do Curso de Capacitação de Agentes Comunitários de Saúde para ações preventivas ao uso de álcool e outras drogas, realizado na modalidade de educação a distância, com formato autoinstrucional e acompanhamento tutorial. O uso de ferramentas tecnológicas, além da articulação com a rede de serviços e acompanhamento tutorial, se mostrou um potente recurso para desenvolvimento de educação permanente em serviço. A tutoria foi um diferencial na maior adesão e interesse no curso, ao permitir a aquisição de conceitos e estratégias de saúde para melhor atender as necessidades dos usuários, segundo as prerrogativas do Sistema Único de Saúde e do modelo de atenção psicossocial.

The Community Health Workers are one of the strategic agents in the work of Primary Care, because they live more directly with health issues in the territory, considering that the problems related to the use of alcohol and other drugs require investment focused on the qualification of health professional. Therefore, this article aimed to report the experience of the Capacity Course of Community Health Agents towards preventive actions from alcohol and other drugs, conducted in the modality of self-instructional distance learning, with tutorial accompaniment. The use of technological tools, besides the articulation with the service network and tutorial accompaniment, proved to be a powerful resource for the development of permanent education in service, in which tutoring was a differential in the enrollment and interest of these professionals in the course, in a way that allows the acquisition of concepts and health strategies to better answer the users needs, according to the prerogatives of the Unified Health System and the psychosocial care model.

Los Agentes Comunitarios de Salud son uno de los agentes estratégicos en el trabajo de la Atención Básica, por convivir más directamente con las cuestiones de salud en el territorio, siendo que el confrontamiento de los problemas relacionados al uso del alcohol y otras drogas requiere invertir en la calificación de los profesionales de la salud. Así, el objetivo de este artículo fue relatar la experiencia del Curso de Capacitación de Agentes Comunitarios de Salud para acciones de prevención al uso de alcohol y otras drogas, realizado mediante educación a distancia, de formato autoinstruccional y con acompañamiento tutorial. El uso de herramientas tecnológicas, además de la articulación con la red de servicios y el acompañamiento tutorial, se mostró un potente recurso para el desarrollo de la educación permanente en servicio, en el cual la tutoría fue un diferencial en la adhesión e interés de estos profesionales en el curso, de manera que permitió la adquisición de conceptos y estrategias de salud para mejorar la atención de las necesidades de los usuarios, según las prerrogativas del Sistema Único de Salud y del modelo de atención psicosocial.

Tutorial para los usuarios de la revista MEDISAN / Tutorial for the users of the journal MEDISAN

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo en una muestra de 58 usuarios de la revista MEDISAN, que carecían de las habilidades básicas en cuanto al procesamiento de esta en la plataforma Open Journal System, desde septiembre de 2014 hasta febrero de 2015, con vistas a contribuir a su alfabetización y a la de todo el personal involucrado en este proceso (revisores, editores y árbitros), para lo cual se elaboró un tutorial en espacios de la intranet e internet, con la utilización de diversas herramientas de software libre. Este se dividió en 5 etapas, y en la segunda fue necesario seguir 5 pasos fundamentales: detalles, políticas, envíos, gestión y apariencia. Mediante dicho tutorial se logró habilidad, adaptación, comprensión y evaluación de la tecnología emergente, demostrado con el incremento cada vez más del número de usuarios. Se concluye que esta plataforma es una contribución de impacto para la comunidad científica tanto de Cuba como de otros países.

A descriptive study was carried out in a sample of 58 users of the journal MEDISAN who lacked the basic skills as for its processing in the Open Journal System platform, from September, 2014 to February, 2015, with the objective of contributing to their literacy and that of the whole staff involved in this process (reviewers, editors and referees), for which a tutorial was elaborated in the intranet and internet spaces, with the use of diverse tools of free software. It was divided into 5 stages, and in the second one it was necessary to follow 5 fundamental steps: details, policy, sendings, management and appearance. By means of this tutorial, skills, adaptation, understanding and evaluation of the emergent technology, were achieved, which was demonstrated with the increment of a greater number of users. It is concluded that this platform is an impact contribution for the scientific community either from Cuba or from other countries.

A seleção de métodos apropriados para a análise estatística pode parecer complexa, principalmente para estudantes de pós-graduação e pesquisadores no início da carreira científica. Por outro lado, a apresentação em PowerPoint é uma ferramenta comum para estudantes e pesquisadores. Assim, um tutorial de Bioestatística desenvolvido em uma apresentação em PowerPoint poderia estreitar a distância entre ortodontistas e a Bioestatística. Esse guia proporciona informações úteis e objetivas a respeito de vários métodos estatísticos empregando exemplos relacionados à Odontologia e, mais especificamente, à Ortodontia. Currents in Internet Addiction

Korea has one of the most advanced information infrastructure in the world. The issue of internet or cyberspace addiction came along with the advancement of high-speed internet and personal computers a decade ago. Internet addiction, once introduced humorously as webaholism, has now become one of the most important adolescent behavioral problems including sex, drug and other delinquent behaviors. Boosted by PC-room and innovative online game industries, the adverse effect of online game overuse now overwhelms other media including video game, online chatting, and cyberporn. Teenagers tend to prefer interactive media such as internet, mobile and peer-to-peer communications to classical uni-directional media such as T.V. and newspaper. The age of initial exposure to these media gets younger. Social and medical support network to remedy the problems does not seem to catch up with the rapidly evolving internet and game industry. The highly addictive and pervasive nature of role-playing and recent casual games are discussed, along with the medico-social and legislative efforts in need from the government, communities, schools and families.

Case Report on the Application of Tele -education Developed for the Anatomy Education / 체질인류학회지

The authors have made an anatomy CD titled Human Anatomy (Ministry of Culture & Tourism registration number 980052) for the self study by students and have used it in anatomy classes. For better student -centered and individual education, the introduction of remote education or interactive tutorial site was inevitable. In this study, amelioration report will be presented on the development and trials of this interactive tutorial site. Total hits for attending classes were 337.5 times, making 4.1 hits per student. About 76 messages were posted on the Q&A board, less than one per student. One assignment was given per lecture and all 82 students have submitted their report. Without delay after test, all students were able to check their grades and ranks between other students. Professors were able to evaluate the percentage of correct answers per question and the average of the score. An online discussion was held for 30 minutes after each lecture. On average, 37 students were participated in the discussion. After the term, evaluation survey in the remote education or interactive tutorial on the internet was made. Eighteen students (26%) have chosen 'good', 'bad' 13 students (19%), 'not much different' 38 students (55%). One the other side, 8 (12%)-'good', 19 (28%)-'not much different', 32 (46%)-'bad' figures were shown for remote examination. From this result, it is guessed that students who are not used to using computers have shown negative feeling from the burden that they had to use a computer to take exams, not demonstrating their full ability.
