RESUMEN

Introducción:

El propósito fundamental de la clase-taller es formar un profesional que resuelva los problemas y situaciones propias de su perfil, por lo que el docente para dirigir acertadamente el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, debe conocer su didáctica y estructura metodológica.

Objetivo:

Evaluar la preparación de los docentes de las Licenciaturas en Tecnología de la Salud sobre la metodología de la clase-taller. Material y

Métodos:

Se realizó un estudio exploratorio en la Facultad de Enfermería-Tecnologías de la Salud, de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Villa Clara, durante el primer semestre de 2018. La muestra fue de 17 profesores y las variables de estudio fueron nivel de identificación de los elementos que forman la clase-taller, nivel de conocimientos sobre las fases de su estructura metodológica, identificación de aspectos para su desarrollo y valoración del desarrollo de la clase-taller. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos análisis-síntesis e inducción-deducción; empíricos análisis documental, cuestionario y guía de observación; y estadísticos, tablas de frecuencias absolutas y relativas.

Resultados:

Se encontraron dificultades en la identificación de los elementos que caracterizan la clase-taller y aspectos para su desarrollo, así como en el nivel de conocimiento sobre las fases a tener en cuenta en su estructura metodológica.

Conclusiones:

Existe una insuficiente preparación de los docentes de las carreras de Licenciatura en Tecnologías de la Salud sobre la metodología que exige el desarrollo de la clase-taller(AU)
ABSTRACT

Introduction:

The main purpose of the workshop is to train a professional to solve the problems and situations of the profile of the specialist; therefore, the teacher should have an adequeate knowledge about its didactics and methodological structure in order to guide the teaching-learning process correctly.

Objective:

To evaluate the training in the organization of workshops for Bachelors of Health Technology. Material and

Methods:

An exploratory study was conducted at the Faculty of Nursing and Health Technology of the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara during the first semester of 2018. The sample consisted of 17 lecturers and the variables of the study were level of identification of the elements that form the basis of the workshop, level of knowledge about the steps of its methodological structure, and identification of aspects and assessment for its development. The following methods were used theoretical methods such as analysis/synthesis and induction/deduction; empirical ones documentary analysis, questionnaire and observation guide; and statistical

methods:

analysis for absolute and relative frequencies.

Results:

Some difficulties were found in the identification of the elements that characterize the workshop and the aspects to consider for its development, as well as the level of knowledge about the steps that should be taken into account in its methodological structure.

Conclusions:

There is an insufficient training of teachers about the adequate methodology for the development of a workshop in the specific area of Health Technology(AU)
