ABSTRACT
The importance of healthy eating is a topic that needs to be discussed at thebasic education, as in the last years there has been increased the problemsrelated to poor nutrition among children and youth. For this, the work wasbased on the theory of meaningful learning of scientific content by conductinga thematic workshop. Participated in this study students, from 6º to 9º years, under the mediation of licentiate graduating / researchers belonging to PIBIDChemistry. The workshop was based on multi-strategic activities, with the useof multimedia resources, experimentation, and dynamic games. The data were collected using materials produced by students, watching and writing theirlines. Systemic networks analyzed these data; it found that, the workshopcontributed to the learning of scientific concepts inherent to healthy food, contributing to the theoretical basis of the student's arguments and theircritical stance during discussions.
