RESUMEN

La empatía se describe como una actitud de escucha interior específica dentro de la relación terapéutica; para el terapeuta la empatía es una forma especial de conocer, esto quiere decir, que el mundo interno del terapeuta y su estado mental, sea tan parecido como sea posible al del paciente. A lo largo de este ensayo pretendo resaltar la importancia y las implicaciones éticas que conlleva la relación entre paciente y terapeuta, relación de suma importancia en tanto evidencia y pone de manifiesto, no solo los sentimientos y conflictos del paciente, sino también la constante confrontación entre ambas personas.

ABSTRACT

Empathy is described as a specific inner listening attitude within the therapeutic relationship; For the therapist, empathy is a special way of knowing, that is, that the therapist's internal world and mental state is as similar as possible to that of the patient. Throughout this essay I intend to highlight the importance and ethical implications of the relationship between patient and therapist, a relationship of great importance as evidence and shows, not only the feelings and conflicts of the patient, but also the constant confrontation between both people.
