Mobilidade ocupacional: as representações deste processo na enfermagem / Occupational mobility: representations of this process in nursing

RESUMO

Neste trabalho estudamos o fenômeno da mobilidade ocupacional na Enfermagem e por decorrência a mobilidade social de um grupo de enfermeiros com peculiaridades próprias vivência profissional pregressa na função de atendentes, auxiliares ou técnicos de enfermagem, origem social, condições socio-econômicas e culturais diferenciadas, bem como as trajetórias educacional e profissional. Grupos similares e numericamente crescentes vêm se inserindo no mercado de trabalho advindos predominantemente das instituições da rede privada de Ensino superior. Essa conformação poderá possivelmente num futuro próximo, transformar o cenário da prática da enfermagem. Este foi o principal motivo que me levou a realizar este estudo, que tem por objetivos: apreender as manifestações de reconstruções materiais e simbólicas da mobilidade socio-ocupacional assim como as representações socialmente constituídas pelo próprio grupo acerca do fenômeno vivenciado. Para tanto, abordamos a questão numa dupla prespectiva de externalidade, analisando quantitativamente a mobilidade ocupacional no contexto socio-cultural e na trajetória de vida dos sujeitos e de internalidade, buscando entender qualitativamente as construções de caráter expressivo, os significados representacionais relativos à própria mobilidade ocupacional. Concluímos que em relação às condições objetivas de vida, para aproximadamente metade dos participantes, houve uma mudança no padrão sócio-econômico no sentidode ascenção. Entretanto, esta aconteceu muito mais em razão do duplo vínculo empregatício do que em função da mobilidade ocupacional propriamente dita. Destacamos ainda, que mais de 40% dos sujeitos permaneceram no mesmo patamar sócio-econômico e para um participante houve descenso social, apesar da mobilidade ocupacional. Quanto às construções de natureza expressiva relacionadas à própria mobilidade, constatamos que este processo envolveu uma necessidade de repactuar ) a própria identidade profissional. Neste processo os determinantes sócio-econômicos e educacionais se relativizaram considerando a existência de uma outra dimensão relacionada à escolha profissional a afetiva, a necessidade de atender os chamados interiores, configurando um processo inscrito também na dimensão subjetiva. A reidentificaçào profissional no nível superior foi decorrente da qualidade deste processo identificatório.

ABSTRACT

The occupational mobility phenomenon is presently investigated, and by parallelism, the socialmobility of a group of nurses with their own peculiarities previous professional experience as nursing ordelies, nurse's aides, nursing technicians, social background, differing cultural and socioeconomic conditions, as well as their unique educational and professional trajectory. similar and numerically increasing groups predominantly proceeding from the private network higher education institutions are being introduced in the work market. Thus, in near future, this configuration may possibly change the nursing practice scenery. This was the main reason which caused me to carry out the present study with the purpose of apprehend the manifestations of symbolic and material reconstruction related to the socio-occupational mobility as well as the representations socially constituted by the group itself concerning the experienced phenomenon. The question was thus approached from a dual perspective the externalization perspective, quantitatively analysing occupational mobility within either the sociocultural context and the subject's life trajectory, and the internality perspective seeking to quantitatively ubderstand the constructions of expressive character, and the representative meanings related to the occupational mobility itself. We arrived at the conclusion that regarding the objective life conditions, there occured an ascensional change in the socioeconomicstandart for aproximately half of the participating subjects. That cahnge, however, was mostly caused by their double employment linkage than by the very occupational mobility. We also emphasized that 40% of the subjects remained in the same socieconomic level. in relation to the constructions of expressive character regarding mobility itself, we are able to verify that this process involved the need to reconvene the proper professional identity. (To Be Continued) Within this process, the socieconomic and educational determinants showed their relativity by considering the existence of another dimension related to professional choice the one affective, the need to listen to inner summons, while shaping a process also inscribed within the subjective simension. The professional higher-level re-identification was shown to be this identifying process consequence.
