Procesos de aprendizaje y deserción en el ciclo de educación superior / Learning processes and dropout in the higher education cycle

RESUMEN

Con el apoyo económico de la Secretaría General Académica de la Universidad Nacional del Sur, se constituyó un grupo de investigación con el expreso propósito de analizar cifras de ingresantes, graduados y ex­alumnos (por deserción) de la UNS. Se siguieron las cohortes de estu- diantes a partir de 1986 (año más estudiado) y se incluyó el año 1997. La población de alumnos que abandonó la carrera (ex-alumnos) se obtuvo a través de la Secretaría de Alumnos y Estudio que, además, informó cifras de inscriptos, graduados y actividad académica.

ABSTRACT

With financial support granted by the General Academic Secretariat of the Universidad Nacional del Sur, a research group was formed with the ex-pressed aim of analyzing the number of new students, graduates, and former students (student dropout) at the UNS. Student cohorts from 1986 (the most studied year) to the year 1997 were studied. The student population who abandoned their career (former students) was obtained from the Students and Study Secretariat, that also reported the number of students enrolled, graduates and academic activity.
