Quilombo do Sopapo: aproximação etnográfica de um núcleo de "Cultura Viva" / Quilombo Sopapo: ethnographic approach of "Living Culture" center

RESUMO

Este artigo apresenta elementos de uma pesquisa etnográfica realizada em um Ponto de Cultura na cidade de Porto Alegre/RS. Além de uma discussão sobre o termo "cultura" e suas implicações na análise do campo das Políticas Públicas, articulações com teorias advindas da Psicologia e de outras ciências humanas são elencadas para elaborar uma aproximação implicada. Apresenta-se uma experiência de campo e relatos de interlocutores(as), ilustrando processos vivenciados na etnografia. Destaca-se no estudo a análise conjuntural do Ponto de Cultura, seus aspectos institucionais e, especialmente, os atravessamentos destes no trabalho materializado na organização. A presente incursão etnográfica aponta para a existência de uma série de concepções de cultura popular e desenvolvimentos de trabalho em Políticas Públicas de Cultura. Além disto, observa-se, como fatores subjetivantes neste entremeio, a fruição cultural e o papel do ativismo como elemento identitário - matriz possibilitada pela política do "Cultura Viva". (AU)

ABSTRACT

This article presents elements of an ethnographic research carried out at a Culture Point in the city of Porto Alegre / RS. In addition of the discussion of the term "culture" and its implications in the analysis of the field of Public Policy, articulations with theories from Psychology and other human sciences are listed to elaborate an implied approximation. It presents a field experience and reports of interlocutors, illustrating processes experienced in ethnography. The study focuses on the conjunctural analysis of the Culture Point, its institutional aspects and, especially, the crossings of these in the materialized work in the organization. The present ethnographic incursion points to the existence of a series of conceptions of popular culture and work developments in Public Policies of Culture. In addition, we observe as subjective factors in this between the cultural fruition and the role of activism as an identity element - matrix made possible by the "Living Culture" policy.(AU)
