A percepção da cultura de segurança do paciente em hospitais brasileiros sob o ponto de vista da equipe de enfermagem: uma revisão bibliográfica / The perception of the safety culture of the patient in Brazilian hospitals from the point of view of the nursing team: a bibliographic review

RESUMO

Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a percepção da equipe de enfermagem quanto a cultura de segurança no ambiente hospitalar. Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica realizada nas bases LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF e no Portal Proqualis, utilizando os descritores cultura de segurança do paciente, clima de segurança, enfermagem e enfermeiro, além da delimitação temporal de 1999 a 2017. A amostra foi composta por 17 artigos cuja análise mostrou que nenhuma instituição alcançou um escore satisfatório para a cultura de segurança, e que as dimensões/domínios que mais influenciam esses resultados são a percepção da gerência, a resposta não punitiva aos erros e a percepção do estresse. A incorporação de uma cultura de segurança nas instituições é imprescindível e apesar de levar um longo tempo, deve ser uma prioridade estratégica viabilizando iniciativas de práticas seguras. Essa mudança requer esforços e envolvimento de toda a instituição, principalmente por parte dos gestores, a fim de criar e consolidar uma cultura de segurança positiva

ABSTRACT

The study aims to analyze the perception of the nursing team regarding the safety culture in the hospital environment. It is a bibliographic review carried out in the databases LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF and Proqualis Portal, using the descriptors patient safety culture, safety, nursing and nurse, and the temporal delimitation from 1999 to 2017. The sample was composed for 17 articles whose analysis showed that no institution reached a satisfactory score for the safety culture. The dimensions / domains that most influence these results are the management perception, the non-punitive response to errors and the perception of stress. The incorporation of a safety culture in the institutions is essential and, despite taking a long time, it must be a strategic priority, enabling initiatives of safe practices. This change requires efforts and involvement of the entire institution, especially by managers, in order to create and consolidate a positive safety culture
