Maternidade e Socioeducação: parece que estou carregando um tijolo / Maternity and Socioeducation: it seems like I'm carrying a brick

RESUMO

O artigo relata a experiência de acompanhamento intersetorial de adolescente vivenciando a gestação e a maternidade no contexto de grande vulnerabilidade - privação de liberdade -, no município de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Identifica os impasses e lacunas do Sistema de Garantia de Direitos, no qual prevalecem preconceitos sociais, de gênero e raça para o exercício da maternidade, além da insuficiência de políticas públicas. Conclui analisando a potência de uma posição ética e comprometida dos profissionais e serviços envolvidos, que seguem e reconhecem o desejo e protagonismo da adolescente, em relação à maternidade e inseparabilidade do binômio mãe/bebê.(AU)

ABSTRACT

This article reports the experience of intersectoral follow-up of adolescents experiencing pregnancy and motherhood in the context of great vulnerability - deprivation of liberty - in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. It identifies the impasses and gaps of the Rights Guarantee System, in which social, gender and race prejudices prevail over the exercise of maternity, as well as the insufficiency of public policies. It concludes by analyzing the power of an ethical and committed position of the professionals and services involved, who follow and recognize the desire and role of the adolescent in relation to motherhood and inseparability of the mother/baby binomial.(AU)
