Cierre de Gastrosquisis en Recién Nacido / Gastroschisis Closure in Newborn

RESUMEN

Describir el manejo quirúrgico, neonatal y anestesiológico de neonato con diagnóstico prenatal de Gastrosquisis, nacido por cesárea de emergencia con anestesia epidural, a quien se le realiza cierre inmediato de defecto de pared abdominal. Luego del nacimiento es atendido por el Pediatra durante el periodo de adaptación y posterior administración de anestesia total intravenosa (TIVA) con intubación orotraqueal y analgesia caudal para el postoperatorio. Neonato es operado exitosamente realizándose el cierre completo del defecto de pared con evolución favorable y dado de alta a los 15 días.

ABSTRACT

To describe the surgical, neonatal and anesthesiologic almanagement of neonates with prenatal diagnosis of gastroschisis, born by emergency caesarean section with epidural anesthesia, who underwent an immediate closure of the abdominal wall defect. After birth, it is attended by the Pediatrician during the period of adaptation and subsequent administration of total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) with orotracheal intubation and caudal analgesia for the postoperative period. Neonato is operated successfully, completing the complete closure of the wall defect with favorable evolution and discharged after 15 days.
