O caráter ontológico da determinação social da saúde / The ontological character of the social determination of health

RESUMO

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre a ideia-chave trazida pelo debate acerca da determinação social da saúde, demonstrando seu caráter ontológico. Esclarecemos em que consiste uma abordagem ontológica. Em seguida, recuperamos proposições originais que apresentam a ideia de determinação social da saúde vinculada à dinâmica genérica do modo de produção. Por fim, fazemos uma crítica à teoria dos DSS, apontando seu caráter fragmentante, representando um retorno à abordagem gnosiológica.

ABSTRACT

Abstract The aims of this article is to reflect on a key idea brought by the discussion on the social determination of health, demonstrating its ontological character. We clarify what an ontological approach consists of. We then recovered original propositions that present the idea of social determination of health linked to the generic dynamics of the mode of production. Finally, we criticize the theory of the SDH, pointing out its fragmented character, representing a return to the gnosiological approach.
