A relação entre comportamento social em adolescentes e música: uma revisão sistemática / The relationship between social behavior in adolescents and music: a systematic review

RESUMO

Objetivo: analisar como a música influencia no comportamento social do adolescente, além dos fatores que perpassam a adolescência. Método: foi realizada, durante o primeiro semestre de 2019, uma revisão sistemática nas bases de dados BVS-SI, PubMed e PsycINFO, sendo utilizados artigos publicados na íntegra em português, espanhol e inglês nos últimos cinco anos (janeiro de 2014 a julho de 2019). Resultados: foram apontados estudos que contemplem definição de gostos por meio do processamento da música e empatia pelas áreas límbicas e frontais do cérebro, formação de uma nova identidade por meio da música, tanto subjetiva, quanto em grupo, novas interpretações da cultura por meio das letras e dos grupos de amigos e engajamento em atividades artísticas. Conclusão: embora os estudos mostrem dados de pesquisa consistentes e que possuem relação entre si, ressalta-se a necessidade de realizar mais estudos com a temática. Palavras-chave Música. ABSTRACT

Objective: analyze how music influences this social behavior of adolescents, in addition to the factors that permeate adolescence. Method: A systematic review of the BVS-SI, PubMed and PsycINFO databases was performed during the first half of 2019, using articles published in full in Portuguese, Spanish and English in the last five years (January 2014 to July 2019). Results: Studies were pointed out that include the definition of tastes through the processing of music and empathy for the limbic and frontal areas of the brain, formation of a new identity through music, both subjective and in groups, new interpretations of culture through lyrics and groups of friends and engagement in artistic activities. Conclusion: Although the studies show consistent research data that are related to each other, it is emphasized the need for further studies on the subject.
