RESUMEN
El objetivo de este artículo es presentar una revisión de la relación entre los factores organizacionales y el acoso laboral en América Latina. Se procedió a la revisión de las bases electrónicas de acceso libre Redalyc, Scielo, Doaj, Latindex y Google Académico desde el año 2013 al 2018, con las palabras de búsqueda acoso laboral, mobbing, violencia laboral, factores psicosociales y factores organizacionales. Los resultados de los estudios revisados a nivel de América Latina, indicaron que la investigación del acoso laboral con relación a los factores organizacionales cuenta con una insuficiente evidencia empírica, lo que ofrece múltiples oportunidades para examinar con profundidad el fenómeno en cuanto proceso social, considerando entre las variables a estudiar: el liderazgo, la comunicación, la cultura y el clima organizacional. Los estudios a realizar pueden desarrollarse desde los paradigmas cuantitativo y cualitativo(AU)
ABSTRACT
The objective of this paper is to present a review of the relationship between organizational factors and workplace harassment. We reviewed the following Open Access electronic databases Redalyc, Scielo, Doaj, Latindex and Google Scholar, limited to the period 2013 through 2018, using the following key words: workplace harassment, mobbing, workplace violence, psychosocial risk factors and organizational factors; the scope was limited to Latin America. Results indicate that there is insufficient empirical evidence of workplace harassment in relation to organizational factors. This offers multiple opportunities for an in-depth examination of the phenomenon as a social process in relation to the role of different variables, including leadership, communication, culture and organizational climate. These studies could be both quantitative and qualitative(AU)
