Localizadores de Información en biología humana: catálogo de autores venezolanos. 2000-2018 / The Retrieval of Localizers of Information in Human Biology: Venezuelan authors catalogue. 2000-2018

RESUMEN

La Recuperación de Localizadores de Información en Biología Humana, tiene como objetivo la recuperación de la documentación científica electrónica y convencional, no exhaustiva; publicada en revistas nacionales e internacionales, sobre crecimiento, desarrollo, nutrición, actividad física, aptitud física, maduración ósea y sexual de niños y adolescentes venezolanos (0-19 años); con sus determinantes socioculturales, años 2000-2018. La revisión documental comprende solamente aspectos epidemiológicos de estudios comunitarios. No se enfocó hacia el análisis de patologías crónicas previamente diagnosticadas o genéticas. Se realizó una búsqueda en bases de datos Repositorios Universitarios, Mendelay, Pubmed, LILACS, Scielo, Redalyd y la página web de la Fundación Bengoa para la Alimentación y Nutrición. Se utilizó la metodología LILACS para la indización a través del DeCS (6) y el sistema de la National Library Medicine (MeSH) (7). En la mayoría de las investigaciones reseñadas se evidenció que los factores de riesgo que marcan la diferencia en la condición de salud de los grupos humanos, son de orden biológico y socioculturales. Este catálogo está dirigido a los profesionales y estudiantes en el área de la salud, para que sea una fuente de información en la búsqueda de referencias sobre la población de niños y adolescentes venezolanos en las dos últimas décadas. Especialmente se ha pensado en las nuevas generaciones que incursionan en las áreas de crecimiento, maduración, nutrición y actividad física. La idea final es que se considere como una investigación abierta, en desarrollo, en construcción y en constante hermeneusis para proporcionar conocimientos en el área de la biología humana(AU)

ABSTRACT

The Retrieval of Localizers of Information in Human Biology is aimed at obtaining and updating scientific information ­ both conventional and electronic ­ in a non-exhaustive manner­published in national and international sources on growth, development, nutrition, physical activity, physical aptitude, skeletal and pubertal maturity, of Venezuelan children and adolescents (0-19 years) allied with its socio cultural determinants that correspond to the years 2000-2018. Only epidemiological aspects in the community are considered, yet the clinical and pathological cases as well as genetics conditions are not included. A search in various data bases included University databases, Mendeley, Pubmed, LILACS, Scielo, Redalyd, Fundacion Bengoa´s www., LILACS methodology as well as, the Health Sciences Descriptors and the system of the National Library of Medicine (MesH). Most of the investigations, highlighted that risk factors that influence health in human beings are biologic as well as socio cultural environment. This catalog is directed towards professionals and students in health areas, with the hope that it will provide important information in about children and adolescent growth and development in the last two decades. We have considered specially the new generations who are interested in growth, development, nutrition and physical activity. The final idea is that this is an open project, in constant development and updating in the areas of human biology(AU)
