RESUMEN
OBJETIVO:
Comparar la eficacia del colgajo sóleo y colgajo sural en la cobertura de la pérdida de sustancia con exposición ósea en el tercio medio de la pierna. MATERIAL YMETODO:
Se realizó un estudio retrospectivo, comparativo de causa efecto, se evaluó a 31 pacientes con pérdida de sustancia con exposición ósea en el tercio medio de pierna a quienes se les realizó un colgajo sóleo o sural para la cobertura del defecto, durante el 01 de enero del 2001 y el 31 de diciembre del 2011.RESULTADOS:
Se intervinieron a 31 pacientes, a 11 se les realizó un colgajo sóleo y a 20 un colgajo sural. El tiempo operatorio promedio encontrado para el colgajo sóleo fue de 3 horas 25 minutos y para el colgajo sural fue de 3 horas 5 minutos encontrándose una diferencia estadísticamente significativa (p0,05).CONCLUSION:
El colgajo sóleo tiene una mayor viabilidad, mayor tiempo operatorio y mayor estancia hospitalaria que el colgajo sural.ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:
To compare the efficacy of soleus flap and sural flap in the coverage of the loss of substance with bone exposure in the middle third of the leg. MATERIAL ANDMETHODS:
An study retrospective, comparative causal, we evaluated 31 patients with loss substance and bone exposure in the middle third of leg who underwent soleus or sural flap for defect coverage during on January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2011.RESULTS:
31 patients underwent surgery, 11 underwent a soleus flap and 20 sural flap, Mean operative time found for the soleus flap was 3 hours 25 minutes and the sural flap was 3 hours 5 minutes found a statistically significant difference (p0.05).CONCLUSION:
The soleus flap is more viable, longer operative time and longer hospital stays than the sural flaps.
