Fragmentos de uma rede de lugares e movimento: o cuidado em saúde mental na atenção básica / Fragments of a network of places and movement: care in mental health in primary healthcare

RESUMO

Este trabalho tomou como objeto o cuidado em saúde mental em uma unidade básica de saúde. A inclusão da saúde mental na atenção básica está em consonância com a Reforma Psiquiátrica e a desinstitucionalização vigente no País, visando a construção de uma rede de cuidados em saúde mental. Decorreu das atividades do ensino teórico-prático da disciplina de Enfermagem em Saúde Mental, bem como das atividades de pesquisa e extensão nesse campo de saberes e práticas. Seu objetivo foi cartografar o cuidado em saúde mental na experiência do ensino teórico-prático de enfermagem em saúde mental em uma unidade básica de saúde. A cartografia como método de pesquisa intervenção possibilitou percorrer o traçado do cuidado em saúde mental, habitando o território da pesquisa e acessando os sentidos e signos presentes nas narrativas dos alunos, trabalhadores, pacientes em sofrimento mental e familiares. Esta experiência permitiu aprender com eventos e acontecimentos em meio à movimentação dos afetos que deram passagem ao cuidado em saúde mental e suas singularidades no território existencial da unidade básica de saúdeO memorial acompanha a tese de Livre-Docência e foi apresentada à Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade de São Paulo, como parte dos requisitos para o Concurso de Livre-Docência, junto ao Departamento de Enfermagem Materno-Infantil e Psiquiátrica.

ABSTRACT

The object of this study is the care offered to mentally-challenged patients at a primary healthcare unit. The inclusion of mental health in primary healthcare is consistent with the Psychiatric and De-Institutionalization Reform in force in the country targeted on building up a healthcare network in mental health. It resulted from activities of theorethical/practical learning of Nursing in Mental health and from activities of research and extension in the field of knowledge and practices. Its objective was, through cartography, to map the care offered to mentally-challenged patients in the experience of theoretical/practical learning of nursing in mental health at a primary care unit. Cartography, while a research/intervention method, allowed following the path of care in mental health in the territory of research and assessing the meanings and signs found in the speech of students, workers, mentally-challenged patients and their relatives. This experience enabled us to learn from events and occurences in the middle of the movement of affections that allow providing care in mental health and its singularities in the existential territory of a primary care unit.
