La formación de habilidades profesionales en la educación superior / The formation of professional skills in higher education

RESUMEN

Las universidades tienen un papel primordial en la formación de profesionales capaces de enfrentar los cambios y las exigencias cada vez más elevadas de la sociedad del siglo XXI. Estudios realizados han constatado la existencia de un alto grado de espontaneidad en la estructuración del sistema de habilidades profesionales, y de un carácter fragmentado de las acciones y las operaciones que se realizan a lo largo del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje para su implementación, dichas habilidades son las propias del ejercicio de la profesión y se definen en función de la asimilación por el estudiante de los modos de actuación de aquella actividad que está relacionada con el campo de acción de su futura labor y que tiene como base los conocimientos de la carrera, los hábitos inherentes a su profesión y los valores que se deben formar. Importantes contribuciones pueden hacerse desde el tratamiento de los diferentes contenidos curriculares para lograr formar dichas habilidades ya sea de forma implícita o explícita. En el presente trabajo se realiza un análisis de las diferentes concepciones sobre el concepto de habilidad profesional para arribar a un nuevo posicionamiento sobre este concepto, se realiza una propuesta de cómo pueden ser obtenidas las acciones y las operaciones de las habilidades profesionales por el principio heurístico de analogía tomando como referente el proceso de formación de conceptos y se presentan, a modo de ejemplo, las acciones y las operaciones de carácter lógico de una habilidad profesional, aspectos vitales para lograr la formación de estas importantes habilidades(AU)

ABSTRACT

Universities have a main role in the training of professionals capable of facing the changes and the increasingly high demands of the society during 21st century. Studies have confirmed the existence of a high degree of spontaneity of the professional skills system structure, and a fragmented characteristics of the actions and operations that are carried out throughout the teaching-learning process for its implementation, they are those related to the exercise of the profession and they are defined in terms of the assimilation by the students that go from ways of action of activity related to the field of their future work. Based on knowledge of the career to habits inherent their profession and values that must be formed. Important contributions can be made from the treatment of the different curricular contents to achieve these skills either implicitly or explicitly. In the present work an analysis of the different conceptions on the concept of professional ability is made in order to arrive at a new position on this concept, a proposal is made of how the actions and the operations of the professional skills can be obtained by the heuristic principle of analogy taking as a reference the process of concept formation and presenting, by way of example, the actions and logical operations of a professional skill, vital aspects to achieve the formation of these important skills(AU)
