Ser trabalhador de enfermagem da Unidade de Centro de Material: uma abordagem fenomenológica / Being a nursing worker at the Material Center Unit, a phenomenological approach

RESUMO

O presente estudo busca compreender a experiência dos trabalhadores de enfermagem que atuam na Unidade de Centro de Material (UCM) de um hospital-escola situado na cidade de Londrina, Estado do Paraná. Para desvelar a experiência vivida por esses trabalhadores, optei pela pesquisa qualitativa utilizando a abordagem fenomenológica, cujos princípios permitiram a aproximação da compreensão do fenômeno "Ser trabalhador de enfermagem em Unidade de Centro de Material". Com o intuito de desvendar o fenômeno, foram realizadas dez entrevistas, que tiveram como fio condutor as questões norteadoras: "Conte-me sobre sua vida trabalhando aqui na UCM" e "Como é, para você, ser funcionário da UCM?" Os discursos dos trabalhadores passaram por dois momentos de análise ideográfica (análise individual de cada discurso) e análise nomotética (análise da totalidade dos discursos), que permitiram construir dez subtemas de análise que, em um movimento de convergência, confluíram para quatro grandes temas: 1) Falando do ingresso nessa unidade; 2) Falando sobre o trabalho desenvolvido; 3) Vivenciando dificuldades; 4) Superando obstáculos. Os temas obtidos indicaram que a essência do fenômeno foi desvelada, permitindo assim o vislumbre de um caminho.

ABSTRACT

The present study aims to understand the experience of nursing staff at the Central Supply Unit (CSU) from a University Hospital in the city of Londrina, State of Parana. In order to unveil the experience these workers have, I choose to employ qualitative research methodology with a phenomenological approach, which contributed for the understanding of this phenomenon - being a nursing worker in the Central Supply Unit. Aiming to disclose this phenomenon, ten interviews were carried out, with the following questions as guidelines: tell me about your life working here at the CSU, and: what is it like for you to be a worker at the Central Supply Unit? The manifests of the workers were submitted to two different moments of analysis: ideographic (individual analysis of each manifest) and nomothetic analysis (an overall analysis of all the manifests). Ten sub themes of analysis were built up, which ultimately converged into four major themes: talking about interacting in to this Unit; talking about the work performed; living out the difficulties and overcoming obstacles. These themes indicated that the essence of the phenomenon was unveiled, allowing for a glimpse of a path.
