Precarização, neoliberalismo e questão social: reverberações sobre os modos de trabalho no nordeste brasileiro / Precariousness, neoliberalism and social question: reverberations about the ways of working in northeastern Brazil

RESUMO

O presente texto é o recorte de uma proposta ampla que tinha como foco uma análise do neoliberalismo, trabalho e precariedade na América Latina. O segmento aqui abordado retrata os aspectos da configuração do trabalho na região do Nordeste brasileiro, destacando as implicações do neoliberalismo e dos processos de precarização nesse contexto. Dada a complexidade da articulação de tais categorias, lançou-se mão de três pontos decisivos para guiar nossa investigação a compreensão da precarização como fenômeno constitutivo do modelo neoliberal proposto para o trabalho; a análise da questão social como mecanismo de contextualização das diferenças que afetam o mercado de trabalho; e, por fim, a dimensão política mais recente, responsável pelas significativas transformações que reverberam na configuração do trabalho na região nordeste. A construção desse cenário lança as bases que permitem o entendimento sobre a articulação entre os "novos" modos de trabalhar e a produção subjetiva dos trabalhadores, reconhecendo evidências dessa vinculação para a constituição do campo da psicologia social do trabalho.

ABSTRACT

This paper is the outline of a broad proposal that focused on an analysis of Neoliberalism, work and precariousness in Latin America. The covered segment portrays aspects of work configuration in Brazil's Northeast region, highlighting the implications of neoliberalism and precariousness processes in this context. Given the complexity of articulating such categories, three decisive points were chosen to guide our intent precariousness as a constitutive phenomenon of the neo-liberal model proposed for work; an analysis of the social question as a mechanism for contextualizing the differences that affect the labor market; and, finally, the most recent political dimension, responsible for significant transformations that reverberate in the work configuration of the Northeast region. The construction of this scenario lays the foundations that allow to understand the articulation between the "new" ways of working and the subjective production of workers, acknowledging evidence of this connection for the constitution of the Social Psychology of Work field.
