RESUMO
A metodologia de síntese de evidências científicas objetiva reunir estudos que analisam eficácia do fechamento de escolas, medida implantada em diversos países, como forma de prevenção e controle de transmissão no cenário da pandemia da doença coronavírus 2019 (COVID-19). Apresenta resultados diversificados, apontamentos de medidas preventivas de transmissão do vírus no ambiente escolar e conclusões que sugerem a continuidade de rastreamento, testagem, isolamento dos casos positivos e apontam necessidade de mais estudos conclusivos sobre diferenças de suscetibilidade e probabilidade de transmissão relacionadas à idade
ABSTRACT
The scientific evidence synthesis methodology aims to bring together studies that analyze the effectiveness of closing schools, a measure implemented in several countries as a means of prevention and control of transmission in the scenario of the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19). It presents diverse results, notes of preventive measures for the transmission of the virus in the school environment and conclusions that suggest the continuity of screening, testing, isolation of positive cases and point to the need for more conclusive studies on age-related differences in susceptibility and transmission probability
