RESUMO
Os médicos de Hong Kong relataram que no dia 10 de março, depois de observar o primeiro grupo de pacientes com alta, que alguns desses pacientes sofreram redução da função pulmonar e agora experimentam problemas como ficar ofegante ao andar rapidamente. A cidade registrou, até aquele momento, 131 casos confirmados de Covid-19, incluindo três mortes. Destes, 74 pacientes tiveram alta. O Dr. Owen Tsang Tak-yin, diretor médico do Centro de Doenças Infecciosas no Hospital Princess Margaret em Kwai Chung, reportou que alguns pacientes podem ter uma perda de cerca de 20 a 30% da função pulmonar. Relatou que cerca de uma dúzia de pacientes já haviam realizado consultas de acompanhamento, sendo que dois a três se mostravam incapazes de fazer as coisas como faziam no passado. A bibliografia analisada neste estudo ainda não apontavam para resultados conclusivos devido ao alcance temporal
ABSTRACT
Hong Kong doctors reported that on March 10, after observing the first group of discharged patients, some of these patients have suffered reduced lung function and are now experiencing problems such as gasping when walking quickly. The city has so far recorded 131 confirmed cases of Covid-19, including three deaths. Of these, 74 patients were discharged. Dr. Owen Tsang Tak-yin, medical director of the Center for Infectious Diseases at Princess Margaret Hospital in Kwai Chung, reported that some patients may have as much as 20-30% loss of lung function. He reported that about a dozen patients had already undergone medical consultations, monitoring, with two to three being unable to do things as they did in the past.
