RESUMEN
RESUMEN El diagnóstico del dolor de cabeza en mujeres embarazadas representa un reto en la práctica clínica diaria. Si bien esta condición fisiológica se ha descrito como un factor de riesgo al momento de considerar etiologías secundarias, es adecuado plantear la utilidad de los criterios ICHD 3 como herramienta útil para diferenciar etiologías primarias de no primarias; esto especialmente cuando las banderas rojas tradicionales están ausentes.
ABSTRACT
SUMMARY Headache in pregnant women represent a challenge in the daily clinical practice. Even though this physiological condition has been described as a risk factor for secondary etiologies, it is worthwhile to consider the usefulness of the ICHD 3 criteria as a practical tool in order to stablish differences between primary vs non primary etiologies, especially when traditional red flags are absent.
