Impacto da gestação na postura e função pulmonar de mulheres do quarto ao nono mês gestacional / Impact of gestation on the posture and pulmonary function of women from the fourth to the ninth gestational month

RESUMO

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar as alterações posturais e a função pulmonar oriundas do quarto ao nono mês gestacional de mulheres em Parnaíba/PI, por meio da biofotogrametria, nas posições anterior, posterior, perfil direito e perfil esquerdo. Foram avaliadas 11 gestantes, recrutadas de uma Unidade Básica e da Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia da Universidade Federal do Piauí, com confirmação de gravidez por meio de ßHCG e com idade média de 23,55 anos, sendo a sua maioria (54,5%) primíparas, estando entre a 17 e 38 semanas de gestação. Quanto à função pulmonar encontrou-se uma redução significativa do pico de fluxo de aproximadamente 100 l/min, da força muscular inspiratória de ­ 21,59 cmH2O e da expiratória de 39,41 cmH2O. Quanto à postura, encontrou-se projeção do centro de gravidade no plano frontal (-0,50) e no plano sagital (4,49). Portanto, pode-se concluir que gestantes primíparas jovens apresentaram redução do fluxo expiratório e forças musculares respiratórias, bem como gestantes que apresentaram alterações posturais como desequilíbrios à esquerda e para frente, como também aumento da curvatura lombar e outras alterações corporais. ABSTRACT

The aim of this study was to evaluate postural changes from the fourth to the ninth gestational month of women in Parnaíba/PI, through biophotogrammetry, in the positions anterior, posterior, right profile and left profile. Eleven pregnant women were recruited from a Basic Unit and from the Clinical School of Physiotherapy of the Federal University of Piauí, with confirmation of pregnancy by means of ßHCG and with a mean age of 23.55 years, most of them (54.5%), primiparous, being between the 17 and 38 weeks of gestation. Regarding pulmonary function, a significant reduction in peak flow of approximately 100 l/min, inspiratory muscle strength of - 21.59 cmH2O and expiratory flow of 39.41 cmH2O was found. Therefore, it is possible to conclude that young primiparous women presented reduced expiratory flow and respiratory muscle strength, as well as pregnant women who presented postural alterations such as left and right imbalances, increased lumbar curvature and other body changes.
