Queimaduras: atendimento hospitalar ao paciente adulto na fase inicial da injúria (software auto-instrucional) / Burns: hospital care for adult patients in the initial phase of the injury (self-instructional software)

RESUMO

Estimulados pelo desafio de contribuir com a formação, atualização, e capacitação de profissionais de saúde interessados no cuidado e tratamento de pacientes queimados, optamos, neste estudo, por desenvolver um "software" auto-instrucional e interativo, utilizando recursos de multimídia - hipertexto, som, desenho, animação e vídeo - intitulado "QUEIMADURAS: atendimento hospitalar ao paciente adulto na fase inicial da injúria". A partir da teoria moderna da aprendizagem GAGNÉ (1980) e da adaptação da proposta de Instrução Auxiliada pelo Computador (CAI) de PRICE (1991), construímos um "software", onde o usuário pode obter informações em relação à classificação, às manifestações clínicas, às complicações, ao atendimento e à indicação para internação em Unidade de Tratamento de Queimados (CTQ). Ressaltamos que essas informações foram fundamentadas na literatura nacional e internacional e que são restritas à fase inicial das queimaduras, ou seja, às primeiras 72 horas pós-trauma. Este programa é composto de telas de textos, imagens estáticas e dinâmicas e foi desenvolvido com a utilização do software de autoria Flasch 'R', tendo sido sucessivamente avaliado e reavaliado por profissionais de informática e especialistas em queimaduras. Após todo o processo de avaliação, o "software" foi considerado satisfatório e excelente, constituindo-se mais uma fonte para aqueles que buscam informação sobre pacientes queimados

ABSTRACT

In this study we were stimulated by challenge of contributing with the training, modernization and qualification of health professionals interested in the care and treatment of burned patients. For this reason we opted to develop an interactive self-teaching software using multimidia researches as hypertext, sound, picture, animation and film entitled "BURN: clinical care to the adult patient in the initial phase of injury". Stating from a modern theory of GAGNÉ training (1980) and adaptation of proposal about Training Supported by Computer (TSC) by PRICE (1991) we made a software which the user can get information related to classification, clinical manifestations, complications, care and the recommendation for admission in Treatment Unit of Burned Patients (TUBP). We emphasize that information were based in the national and international literature and were restricted to the initial phase of burn, that is to the first 72 hours post-trauma. This program is composed by web texts, static and dynamics images and it was developed with the use of software by Flasch 'R' with succeeding valuations and reavaluations by computing professionals and experts of burn. After all valuation process the software was considered sufficient and excellent constituting one more source for those professionals that search for information about burned patients
