RESUMO

Nesta dissertação analiso as formas práticas como, entre tensões e saberes, se consolida um contexto crítico de violências e ameaças a mulheres indígenas na cidade de São Gabriel da Cachoeira, e como elas respondem, atravessam e se constituem nele. Para tal, analiso três casos de feminicídio de mulheres indígenas que são lembrados como contendo violência sexual, assim como o início da pandemia de Covid-19 na cidade e as respostas lideradas pelas mulheres. Desse modo, as Declarações de Óbito e Inquérito Policial produzidos em torno dos três feminicídios ajudam a compreender os procedimentos técnicos, a própria produção dos documentos, bem como elucidam o que ocorreu nesses casos específicos. As discussões acerca dos documentos e dos relatos dos moradores de São Gabriel concernentes a esses casos ajudam a identificar saberes produzidos por mulheres que, em diferentes posições os acompanharam. Os saberes das mulheres causam tensões e disputas em relação aos saberes documentais do Estado e de seus agentes. É observado que as relações violentas contra as mulheres na cidade criam resistências e enfrentamentos por vias coletivas e de redes institucionais, de alianças e de afetos. Nesse cenário, que a pandemia de Covid-19 chega à cidade preocupando mulheres indígenas acerca da obliteração das violências que sofrem. A partir disso, o Departamento de Mulheres da Federação das Organizações Indígenas do Rio Negro criou a campanha Rio Negro, nós cuidamos! como forma de resposta a pandemia. Nesse marco foi criada a cartilha Violência Doméstica e Violência Sexual em tempos de pandemia. Redes de apoio e denúncias você não está sozinha!, prevendo a intensificação e a possibilidade de obliteração da violência contra mulheres.

ABSTRACT

In this dissertation, I analyze the practical ways in which, between tensions and knowledge, a critical context of violence and threats to indigenous women in the city of São Gabriel da Cachoeira is consolidated, and how they respond, cross and constitute themselves in it. To this end, I analyze three cases of femicide against indigenous women that are remembered as containing sexual violence, as well as the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in the city and the responses led by women. Thus, the Death Certificates and Police Inquiry produced around the three femicides help to understand the technical procedures, the production of documents itself, as well as clarify what happened in these specific cases. Discussions about documents and reports from residents of São Gabriel concerning these cases help to identify knowledge produced by women who, in different positions, monitored them. Women's knowledge causes tensions and disputes in relation to the documental knowledge of the State and its agents. It is observed that violent relationships against women in the city create resistance and confrontations through collective channels and institutional networks, alliances and affections. In this scenario, the Covid-19 pandemic arrives in the city worrying indigenous women about the obliteration of the violence they suffer. From that, the Women's Department of the Federation of Indigenous Organizations of Rio Negro created the campaign Rio Negro, we take care! as a way of responding to the pandemic. In this framework, the booklet Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence in times of pandemic was launched.
